LOL well if Lawler wants to come to my house and set me up on itunes I will forever be an itunes girl

i've been asked to post regarding itunes... if you want a single place to put all your music in by far the best system to search, make playlists and all that (also convert podcasts to mp3's in a single click called "convert to mp3) then itunes is for you

you don't need to be tech savvy to use itunes... you would have had the podcast downloaded automatically to your computer (then one click to mp3 if you choose not to use an ipod)

I didnt realize that you could conver the podcast to mp3, thats good to know. Thanks for the post

Question to my tech savy friends: if you use itunes doesnt that mean you have to have all your music in 2 formats (mps and whatever itunes uses)? Everytime I downloaded a set in mp3 would I not have to convert it? I use to have itunes and thats what I found most annoying.

Mikey (or anyone) can you please provide a link to a Max Graham set (recent) thats mp3... Mikey you can put me as 'maybe' on this roll call (when am i going to sleep lol??)

SAGAR!!! COME TO MY HOUSE ASAP! I need your help lol
From what I remember when I added songs to itunes when i use to use itunes, it would always convert them and I had 2 of everything on my computer.

- Probably me just being a computer idiot who just clicks random buttons hoping it will work

Posted by max graham on Jun-18-2008 17:17:

when you buy from the itunes store it comes in apples format...AAC i think it is... thats what you're thinking of

but any mp3 you download or rip can be played in itunes... you're missing out trust me

just buy a mac and you won't need a course in all that stuff... it just works... even brad copeland finally switched... loved it and made his girlfriend switch too...

after ten years on PC i feel like they were wasted when i finally got away from windows and all the bullshit that comes along with running your digital life through microsoft

Posted by max graham on Jun-18-2008 17:19:

when you drag and drop into itunes, if you have "copy into itunes" selected then it will file it in itunes... then you delete the file from your download folder or wherever else... so you achieve what you were looking for with "all my music in one place"

or if you want your music here and there, you can set itunes NOT to copy the mp3 into itunes but rather to leave it where it is as just play it from there... i think you'll find it will work for you

no i don't work for apple, i just wish i had someone showing me the light years ago instead of me wasting my time with windows...

i live to give :P

Because Im proud that I can do SOME things on my PC... I would be hopelessly lost if all of a sudden things changed.

And I just bought a laptop last year, ill invite you laptop shopping in a year or two when Im ready for a new one

Guys Im sorry I destroyed this roll call with my computer woes. Even though Max Graham is now equally at fault.

Max since your so helpful.. i got a question.. how do you make a podcast to show the track by just clicking the title? Kinda like how 'a state of trance' is setup. you can also add multiple pieces of artwork when the song changes.. i like that..

oh ,, and I love podcast #8 ,, with teh guy yelling 'best dj in all across canada',, and the clapping .. makes u feel as if your right there re-living the moment!

OMG, that is his live set from last time I saw him at footy..and I remember the guy yelling it...We came last minute after bacardi b live turned out awful, and I was in for a good surprise..I think to this day the most memorable events at footwork so far have been:

danny howells, luke hair, and max graham!

Posted by SasH21 on Jun-18-2008 18:32:

btw, max what happened to first 2 parts of the footwork set, the podcasts only download part 3 and 4?

yah , the guy keeps on saying "Best dj in canada" and the music cuts in and out" after that its all good.
i would never yell at a dj, not even shake their hand... well maybe if i met them outside their work.
Sash,, maybe we can do a little dancing sat night.. show me your moves!
