That's not the point. We are talking about Tiesto here. He's not a human being like the rest of us. Well, like the rest of you. I'm a much more superior being, obviously.

Ew I have a hard time playing one night let alone 20 in a row. I strain myself for 2 two days straight before a gig getting nervous and planning and all that jack, but if it's like Clovis said and all he has to do is beatmatch than that must be hell of an easy job...and ghey.

What do you mean?

He means that beatmatching is for fags. This is why some dj's play minimal though. You don't have to worry about beatmatching and at the same time you can use it as a cover up for your homosexuality.

Literally 65-70% correct. He'll often change around the filler in between the tour tracks on a night-to-night basis.

But thats the point of doing something called marketing and releasing a CD with which to tour. You pickup 30 odd tracks, and you hammer them to death to people who associate those tracks with YOU. And YOU alone. Separate to any EDM scene that may exist somewhere in the background.

Welcome to the top of todays EDM scene. It's no different to what any of the other big names in trance are doing, as blueprinted by Oakey who obviously, did it before all of them.

The 35 date tour in a month across USA is insane. Even more insane is the 3 month summer schedule, which is equally as packed as daily shows around Europe. That might be shorter flights, but the night after his final gig in US, he flies across to Spain to kick off 3 months of daily touring in Europe. That = no rest for the wicked.

He's getting married in October. It might just mean other things become more important to him than touring (if these things have not already overtaken his attention over his touring). It's been banded about as an idea for ages, about how @ 40 he may start slowing down and being more selective, however, few months after these rumours float out of BH, we see some insane schedule appear like this, as Tijs gets his lust for gigs again and so on and so forth.

It could be seen as a last huge tour going everywhere, before the retirement/slow down.
It may also just be because he felt the right time to do this, with an ISOS7 CD of which the tracks featured make up pretty much every fans dream (admitedly all the decent ID's and bomb tracks of the past 12 months) in his recent sets.

Fuck it, let the guy live a little. At least he hasn't busted out the Just Be tracks as par for the course so far on the tour.

Thanks for the info, Chris. Looks like me seeing him Monday will be just the right time then.

Top of the TRANCE scene, and I do agree with all the points you raised. Thats just how it works. And thats why I'm not into that

Then why do u spend everyday on a TRANCE site? Yes a lot of peeps here listen to other genres including myself, but the bulk is still Trance. Minimal is good for bedtime.

A sizable amount of regular posters in fact, and trance led me to where I am in the first place, no denying that.
