ferry always been technical skilled compared to alot of other trance djs imo. i didnt like those compilations that much tho but ferry corsten innercity CD was realy cool.

good call, but still in my opinion i consider tranceport real and classic trance. it's not as old as the examples you put up and it didnt contribute as much to the foundation of trance as your examples, but i still consider tranceport the epitome of what trance should be. again thats just my opnion

Yup. I went on a Oakie CD buying spree in 2002, when I discovered the trance genre.

Travelling is also one of the best compilations I have ever heard...

Better than Tiesto's Nyana in my opinion. But Tiesto has stepped it up with the In Search of Sunrise comps.

Tranceport is quite possibly the very first mix that I ever listened to.
I loved it, and then further went out and downloaded "Paul Oakenfold - Live @ Gatecrasher"

I was hooked. I still love Paul Oakenfold for what he was. Nowadays I'm much more into Carl Cox, Chemical Bros., & BT, but Tranceport is what started it all.
