AY AY AYAY... CANTA Y NO LLORES... PORQUE CANTANDO SE ALEGRAN CIELITO LINDO LOS CORANZONES...

I hope Spain will win this one, but I'm having doubts. I'm practically sure Germany will (again!!!) play a shit match (as they've done mostely during the tournament) but still they can win the final. They're still Germans ...

or said otherwise: a match takes 90 minutes, and in the end the Germans win

The semi-final match had two goals conceded against Germany. Those two goals scored by a Turkish side minus some of their top players. Spanish defense is ace, and if they can utilize their midfield(like they have been doing) they can beat Germany, who have been off and on in their matches. I say Spain to take this cup. Nonetheless, it will be a good match-up.

As much as puyol is a pain in my ass during la liga games.... yes he is a very good defender.

dunno what that means, but +1

If Germany plays like they did against Portugal, they have a good chance of winning, if they play like they did at every other match this tournament, I want Spain to win

Es la letra de 'Las Mañanitas', la cual habrá de cantar a los alemanes después del partido mañana.

And it's only fair, cause Spain's missing Villa.

Oh sorry, you're right. 'Corazones' is spelt incorrectly, puto.

Edit: Unless you're going for a subtle, Islamic reference there.

spain will only get better if guys like torres & cesc play in england, toughening up a bit is exactly what they need. 12 months in england and Fernando Torres has added a much more physical side to his game which allowed him to muscle his way in there. It's also why england won't go far unless guys like gerrard, rooney, joe cole, bentley etc spend some time learning in italy or spain.

Germany actually played well in those first 15 minutes, but then Spain started to settle in this new tactic, and started being consistently dangerous. Torres is having his first good game in this tournament and finally scored a goal, also hitting the post once. But man of the match so far to me is Iniesta, absolutely fantastic dribbling, passing and thinking of the game. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he's the one who made the assist for the goal.

Surprised Iniesta always stops at the net to switch foots instead of trying for a shot, could be good to hope for atleast a bounce off the goalkeeper.

I was wrong, lol, the assist was Xavi's.

Posted by Ian on Jun-29-2008 20:05:

Iniesta is playing well. We just have to watch now cos the germans are having some pressure. Time imo for Xavi off and Xabi Alonso on into the midfield

Posted by Ian on Jun-29-2008 20:07:

ok correct me if im wrong but did Podolski just push HIS head into silva as much as silva himself ?

yeah, that kinde pisses me of also, has Barça written all over.

The entire barça squad did the same thing in the champions league, as if they wanted to run with the ball into the net. They should've shot alot more on target.

Hehe, and now Iniesta shot
