I despise Myspace. Always have, always will. Someone let kids get their hands on HTML and other code and they have no fucking idea how to use it; basic color schemes (font/background colors or pictures), when to limit themselves on the amount of media they put on their page without slowing down a browser, or just code that's completely fucked-up.

Not to mention the random music that plays all the fucking time, or the high school girls that spend all day making bulletin after bulletin after bulletin of absolute bullshit that is of zero importance to anybody but her and one other person, the two female best friends in high school I watched throw away the friendship they'd had since elementary school just because of a "Top Eight" list, and Myspace's own overloaded, media-heavy home page.

I fucking hate it. It's absolute fucking bullshit. Yet at the same time, I'm using it somewhat as a promotional tool in a vain attempt to get gigs, so I keep my use of it to a very, very bare minimum.

Facebook is ever-so-slowly getting there. I liked it at first because it didn't (and for the most part, still doesn't) come with bullshit. You can't customize your page with code that you shouldn't be using without knowing how to, the layout is simple and minimalistic, there's no media that is overloading it, and the only thing that I have qualms with are the applications.

I have mine because I enjoying keeping in touch with my friends from high school. It was mentioned earlier that I could call them. Well, I happen to be somebody who doesn't like talking on the phone about random shit. Weird, yes, but I only call somebody if I have a question or something.

That's just my take on it. Myspace can suck my left nut, Facebook is fine.
