I work for a market research company here in Australia, and we're currently doing some research for McDonalds. Our interviewers stand in the store and ask customers a bunch of questions .. stuff like where they've just come from, where they're going to after McDonalds, what streets they are using, how long ago they decided to eat at this location/time, etc.

Sounds like to me like this data will all just go straight into their Quintillion database and be used to site new locations

my local curry shop..
got close down cos some scandanavian blokes were usign cat/dog meat in the curries. they thought it was leagal, cos whereever the feck tehy came from.. it was apparently legal. they got sent back there. thsi was only noticed after 4 weeks when the health inspectors came round and found frozen pups and kittens in teh freeza. :/
