Originally posted by djc200 yeah, it did take a long time to board. sorry about that. i just know that they were searching really hard this time at the door. this was for a couple of reasons... they had another party on the sister boat, the star of palm going on. so they had most of the security guards on the other boat and not ours. basically, they know that on our parties, there are never any fights, just problems with illicit substances. so if you were able to get past security, you were able to have a great time on the boat without huge guys in black breathing down your neck! for THAT i was supremely thankful for. i think you guys can agree!

I didn't leave the top floor the whole time in fear of not getting back up.
fun bash! here are some pics: clickity-click

Originally posted by montie Yeah that was really annoying. I was afraid to leave to go to the bathroom cuz I didn't want to wait to get back up. Also was Desyn's set from the boat also recorded?

Anybody know what track was playing while we were leaving the dock? Male vocals, groovy bassline... not giving you much here, I know...
Anyway, it was an awesome party. Haven't had such a good time in a while. Smiling people, great music, uncrowded dancefloor (thanks to the occupancy limits), boating fun, great sunset... what more could you ask for? Can't wait to hear the set again!

Originally posted by sot i think for future parties to alleviate that situation is just put a banging system down stairs as well then people wouldn't be begging to come back up. that one little speaker downstairs wasn't doing justice and made people get anxious to come back up. just a thought.
lol looks like you guys got the exact oppostie problems with DJ's showing up. Desyn almost missed the cruise in Toronto and showed up with a huge stuffed animal over his head smiling as if he wasnt holding up the boat for 2 hours.
glad it was a great time. I officially LOVE S.O.S!!! (yes I know I love a different genre of music...HOLY SHIT!) Sooooo sick, especially the first hour...had such dark DEEEP beats, it was almost sexy...lol loved every second of them. <3 wowowow.
Our (toronto) cruise was a little short because of delays but I didnt really care because there was still good music, good peoples, and a fabulous view (we lucked out because were we docked was a perfect view of the toronto skyline, so being off the dock didnt make much of a difference to me....) perfect weather, too! <3
Based on the music alone I WILL be doing the NYC one next year and even seeking them out in a club setting. wow.
Edit: my pics from the Toronto Version if anyone is interested:

Had a blast on Saturday. Turned out to be a perfect night.
Music was great the first hour when DM first got on but lost me the rest of the time.
Hats off to the David, Rocky and crew... Another fine party boys!
Sorry guys... can't release the recordings yet. You'll all have to wait.
