I agree. Person A should stop and reflect on what it is that he/she fell in love with - the idea of stability with Person B... or just the idea of having someone love them back?

Opposites can attract, but can they cope with sacrificing what it is they want in order to stay together? I'm a cynical bastard, but I have a hard time believing that someone can give up their hopes and dreams for someone over a long period of time - eventually person B is going to stop appreciating that and then all hell will break loose.
