Ok well since all the bitching has been done about the timing and the late arrivals im not going to ... however i full heartily agreed
But I still had a great time ... good friends, good music, and great weather ...
And Tara you were 100% right about the weather ... i should have never worried
When the music was turned up and the boat was sailing it was bliss! I could not stop dancing and the tracks and mixing was just freaking amazing!!! However, the shortened time was indeed shittay and heart breaking because I was enjoying it soooo much! And yes, I also noticed that Desyn did disappear for a long time during the "peak time" of the party, but O well, Omid & Demi ownnnnnned the tunage!
Sometimes things just don't go according to plan no matter how prepared or deserved it is.. so just embrace what you get and focus on the positive (the amazing tracks & weather) and dance! That's what I did anyways

Awesome, awesome time (althought since its my first cruise, I have nothing to compare it to). The shortened time was truly annoying, but lets be honest, I came up to see old friends (and new!) and had the time of my life catching up and enjoying the weather.
The first hour of (loud) music was sooo sick. The people had me ignoring the disturbances of the cruise, but I have to agree that if I wasnt visiting and so pumped to see people, I wold have been pissed at spending $50.
Thanks to everyone for being so fucking lovely to me, and making my days in Toronto such a blast 
Shelley (my love, the reason I was there), Bobby (fellow NY'er with the sexy ferragamos...stylin!!) CRIBS!! (my jersey boy I LOOOOVEEE you dude! pure good times when you are around!), geroin (RUSKY!!), knox (So glad I know you now...awesome peoples and dont use those pictures!), jems<3 with his SOS sign that I thought was just a piece of carboard...wtf!! DIZTY moment of the day!), nada and ali, del, gorgeous english rachel with the chanels, rose, liam, ryan, Justin (lol you were bombed and freakin hilarious) shanny and Jose (omg we had a MOMENT in the washrooms!! I love this bitch!)etc etc etc (too many people to remember....I barely had time to **THINK** seeing everyone. HUGE suprise seeing Fuad as well....what a fucking maniac he is 
I love it!
*btw sooooo sorry about not making it to the Docks (I promised some people I would). I had been on vaca for 11 days and was feeling awesome at the end of the boat cruise. However, after a 45 minute search for justins car (??? drink much??? LOL!), the looong vaca and tons of partying caught up to me. I was miserable and my body shut down....I went back to shanny's and never made it out again!

I agree the cruise could have been longer and sure, Desyn could have taken a water taxi but really what's done is done...so here are my thoughts....
2nd time seeing the trio together, and it wasn't so bad. Last year we caught them at Extrema which was amazingness 
Love DEMI & OMID
Desyn is my least favourite out of the three
I couldn't hear the tunes very well in the beginning but that changed when we started moving
Rachel and Shelley and whoever else had their bdays hope you guys had fun
highlights of the boat criuse for MOI
* getting more drunk than last year's Demi cruise
* I upgraded from giving Demi a bitten choc chip cookie to a whole chewy bar (Choc chip)
* Randomly going up to Omid and busting my farsi hahaha he was super sweet
* Meeting BIG BOSS in person 
* Talking some drunken smack to ppl that was just NOT right hahahah but now I think about it, all i can do is laugh at myself :
* Screaming SEX ON SPEAKERS as I occupied that area for the last 45 mins of the short ass boat cruise....WOAH
more later....
my only regret is not being able to make it to the DOCKS
I passed out as I had a family dinner that night.

the day was a blissful blur for me until I realized we were docking so early.....other than the shortness of it all, I thoroughly enjoyed the tunage/company/perfect weather.....
still, despite this, I have to admit that Demi last year was more satisfying...which makes me come to the conclusion that 3 djs aboard doesn't always guarentee a better party than 1.

First and foremost we would like to thank everyone for attending the event on Sunday. As all are aware things did not go to plan and there are many unhappy people, which we completely understand...and we sympathize, as we also would have liked the cruise to unfold the way it was planned. I will say, we are fortunate to have had all three of the boys on the boat as the NYC cruise just one day earlier was missing both Omid and Demi due to their flight from Lithunia not being able to land in NYC in time due to weather. Desyn made it as he left Lithuania on an earlier flight than the other two.
As far as leaving late and coming back early, when hiring a boat for a cruise you are given a 5 hour window. That window was Noon - 5 PM which is supposed to leave 30 minutes for boarding and 30 minutes to disembark...that is the ideal forumla. In this case, we did not have all ticket holders boarded until 1 PM and when we did, Desyn was not yet on board. The reason he was not on board was because his flight from NYC was cancelled and he did not arrive in Toronto until Noon...still having to pass through customs, immigration for his work visa, baggage claim, and then get from the airport to the boat. At 1 PM when we had everyone on board and were ready to sail we made a call to the water taxi to ensure that we could get Desyn on the boat if we took off. The answer "if he came right now it would be no problem, but because it is Caribana it may get busy...if it gets busy there is no way I am cruising all the way out to meet the Northern Spirit as I loose too much business to do so by sending out one of my boats for too long...my suggestion would be to wait for your DJ." We made a judgement call that was based on people paying to see SOS. It was either we give people SOS for shorter period than promised...or give people 2/3 of SOS also for a slightly shorter period...we decided to wait.
As for the volume issues, I have to admit I was abit taken aback by how things unfolded. Last year as soon as Demi stepped on the boat at Noon we started the music (at a reasonable volume) and he played until 5 PM...again the last half hour of disembarking (at a reasonable volume). I expected exactly the same thing this year and was not notified otherwise...but apparently they no longer allow music while the boat is docked. In fact, they wanted to completely shut off the music as soon as we entered the inner harbour...I had to negotiate a lower volume in order to keep the music on. This is something that I will be taking up with the venue operators as I feel that we were completley screwed out of what we expected based on the success of last years cruise.
Hopefully this message clarify's a couple of things for those assuming otherwise. Again, we do appreciate you support and sympathize with the fact that you all spent good money to be there. As a gesture, we would like to extend the invitation to be on our comp guest list for our 1 Year Anniversay of EXPOSED at the Mod Club. For those that bought tickets on www.ticketbreak.com we have a list of names who purchased tickets and you will be automatically added to the list at Mod Club on Friday August 22, 2008. The list is open until 12:30 AM. If you bought tickets from a promoter, please contact them to be added to the list. Once again we apologize that this did not unfold as we planned. Thanks for the patience and thanks for the phenominal vibe on the boat. The party was extremely memorable. The SOS boys thoroughly enjoyed the crowd and do wish they could have played longer as well.
