Bad news again? I read this on Giant's email blast today:

"Friday in SD… Sander Kleinenberg won’t be traveling to the US and will be missed at Spin this Friday. Fear not, we still have Anthony Ross, Cowboy Mike, Jason Videna and DJ Xcite for the only party in town this Friday presented with, no less than, Eventvibe.com, Tim Ortiz Presents, aProduction.net, Minx Productions, Lifted, 4 the DJ, Realivze Tribe, Polka Dot & those fun loving Green Addicts."

Cancelled...but your $25 ticket should still be honored to go see the locals....

They should host an open bar til midnite to make up for it...

I am trying to look into whether LA was cancelled too.

I've seen gigs (with international DJs) get cancelled wed-friday before, and then is able to play the Sat gig.

Unfortunately Sander Kleinenberg will not be able to perform for his Avaland Residency on Saturday September 13th. All of us in his Avaland family would like to extend to Sander and his family our deepest condolences with the passing of his mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kleinenberg family. Although Sander sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused for everyone who had been looking forward to seeing him this Saturday, he is set to return to Los Angeles on New Year's Eve to complete the 2008 portion of his This Is Avaland Residency. This Saturday, Trent Cantrelle will be performing for another installment of his Sounds Like Avaland Residency.
