After expereincing a roadside check point.. I don't think it is worth the hassle.

The check point was pretty intense and we just got to sail through in a cab... drivers were having their cars torn apart, searched from head to toe and sniffed by dogs.

They may have been looking for someone particular ... it was still an experience.

My last trip to Ibiza in 2003 gave me all the reason in the world to never rent again when there.

I'd say check out week 2. Sven Vath in one room and Ricardo in the other = best you can get from techno tbh.



PS. You guys have some reeeeeeeeeally good parties going on when you're there. You lucked out. The first We Love Space parties line-up is absolutely epic.

I know that I'm supposed to be sleeping now because in Ibiza sleep is hard to come by, but I'm so excited I haven't been sleeping much at all over the past few days.

so looking forward to your adventure stories!

Its TODAY we're gearin up for as this We Love... party is what i've SOOOO been looking forward to.


Landed last night, but had some bullshit with the hotel, as altho everything was CONFIRMED, our room was not available.
A mixup happened with either Ibiza-Spotlight or the Fiesta Hotel itself.

We managed to find a place in San Antonio til Monday, and have already booked the last 12 days at another
one of the Fiesta chains, the Fiesta Club Palm Beach in Playa d'en Bossa.

Small bump-in-the-road thats not gonna really bother us...
However, something we gotta straighten out with Ibiza-Spotlight.

We Love Space was good on Sunday but we were both exhausted and it became a bit of a battle to make it to the end of Sasha, never the less, great party.

Last night we went to carl cox closing with loco dice and vrk and i agree that it was in fact a heavy duty party.

Next up for us most likely will be Hernan and Satoshi at the def mix party at pacha, but who knows anything can happen.

Cox and Dice combo is definitely phenominal. and has to be one of my fav combos.

Graham to answer your question about Monday complications around meeting our friends and switching hotels from San Antonio back to Playa den bossa left it really late on monday and we ended up having to eat our ticket to circoloco....never fear we're headed there this monday.

Rachel the Carl Cox closing was pretty much exactly what I expected it to be. Loco Dice played for about three hours or so in the mainroom of space playing super chuggy groovy techno. There were dancers hanging from ribbons over the dance floor and when Loco Dice turned it over to Carl Cox the ovation was quite incredible.

Carl's first three tunes were really deep techy prog which gave him quite the entrance. Loco Dice was better as a whole but neither were a disappointment.

We just got in from the Def Mix party at Pacha, which first of all is the most incredible club I've ever been to. The opening DJ was horrendous, almost reminded me of Nevio at sonic, playing with the volume mixing in tunes in the worst times.

Satoshi came on after and was an improvement but would go on weird tangents that would completely lose everything.

But Hernan played the best tunes we've heard so far. Super deep driving progressive. Top Notch.
