I didn't laugh a single time when watching this movie.

Had a family member died that day or something?

I don't know about that.

I'm in two minds. It could either be the greatest sequel ever or the biggest load of fail since Beerfest. The end of the first movie was very conclusive, it really didn't need a sequel.

It did.

"I'll have a chinchilla!"

I'm torn on the need for a sequel.

Guaranteed I would watch it on opening day, with great excitement. But, the comedy bar has been set very high. They would have to do a damn fine job to do it justice.

Cloudburst, the first time I watched, I didn't really think it was terribly funny. This is one of those movies that gets funnier and funnier every time you watch it. That's my favorite kind, since there's a lot of replay value.

And his shenanigans are cruel, and tragic!

beerfest had its moments, but yeah was not as good.

i was hoping for weedfest as they showed at the end of the beer movie but i think that didn't happen either.

this comedy is just a little funnier to me, because i live in the general area of where it is based. Vermont borders our province.

The jokes about poutine that someone from elsewhere not get felt like it was just for me.

I also lolled at "look the plane has canadian markings!".

to this day i still use the term afghanistanimation.

All I want to know is.. Where is "weedfest" right? right?

edit: hivemind

I think the story of when I went to go see this is thread worthy. We went opening day, so many people had snuck into our showing that it was full, so they gave us tickets to the next showing and let us go watch another movie. We were blazed as fuck when we got into this movie. From the commercials the movie, for those who remember, it seemed like the movie was going to be about the kids trying to avoid these 'super troopers'. So when thorny was going to make them smoke their entire bag of weed, and the chase scene ensued, that was by far the funniest part in the movie the first time. It was a huge twist from the expectation of what the movie was going to be about. All of a sudden these cops were on our (the stoner kids) side so to speak that was so fucking awesome beyond any measure to the mind of a young stoner.
