Whatever you do, do not miss Dixon.

Color me jealous that he's playing out there.

Pacha is a huge guido attraction. Cielo has a mature business type crowd - not guidos. Bar 13 - never only Hipsters on K.

I dislike very very much the crazy fuked up asians more than fuked up guidos

LOL we have the fucked up asians here in Texas too.

Larry didn't get booked for this party, he's responsible for it.

And having spent a weekend with him recently and DJ'd with him, I have to say that I don't agree with your assessment.

Well guys, I think I'm gonna sit out this one.

I've decided that I need to get my ass in gear and I'll be using the money I would have spent towards a powerful laptop and some basic production gear because I need to start making fucking music.

I really was looking forward to this, mostly I just wanted to see all my friends, but I know what I NEED to do and that is start making some contributions to the music I love ASAP.

I know you'll all have fun.

I'll see if I can overdose again for you.

Do it.

I just hope they have someone checking the restrooms for half dead people with vomit/blood/shit/piss all over their clothes.

Aww Clovers getting his shit in gear!

Same here. Starting school in Sept and if I go to Mini - I'll relapse.

I'm clean. For now.

Terrific. I don't care - he's the definition of "hipster: the dead end of western society."

I'm sure you, Larry, and his Wii-Mote will be fast friends.

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Aug-19-2008 21:46:

lmfao @ the wii mote story.

Posted by RJT on Aug-19-2008 21:48:

Teal is the new pink, you know.

Posted by lcid on Aug-19-2008 21:58:

it was fun playing "Where's Larry?" during DEMF.

Way to be a dick about it.

Larry is the man.

Sorry man, there's very little chance you're going to convince me Larry has any redeeming qualities.

He personified the kind of person I wish weren't involved in dance music, and I think it'd be a shame if you wound up even remotely like him.

I understand that, but he's a reasonably nice guy and has worked on doing some really great parties. I'm not saying he's the fucking greatest thing since sliced bread, but he really isn't THAT BAD, so to say you've never seen such a waste of life with such far bigger offenders around seems silly to me.

I'm not 100% hot on all the people my friends hang out with but I try and refrain from saying stuff like that about them because I trust the judgment of my friends and I know that certain situations lead you to be involved with certain people, regardless of whether or not they are your 1st choice.

One of the many reasons why RJT's DJ career has peaked and is all downhill from here: I'm so fucking paranoid about being involved with people I feel fall into my "less than first choice" category that I'd rather just stay away and acknowledge I'm not going to get nearly as far because of it.

That, and the fact that I'm one of thousands of faceless, talentless techno bandwagoners out there, but I choose to focus on the former rather than the latter.

being bald certainly doesn't help set you apart either.

The phrase "garden variety" comes readily to mind.

Thats fine, I just think that calling almost anyone "a waste of human life" is fucking stupid.

Only person I would call that is probably Matt Sanity.

Posted by elFreak on Aug-20-2008 02:27:

hey, i resent that.

Sorry, but I call them like I see them, and I've rarely seen someone so perfectly embody the words "waste of life" than I witnessed with Larry.

I actually don't think he and Matt are that far off to be honest with you - and I'm dead serious when I say that I might even prefer Mattsanity to Crazy Larry, and I've never even met Mattsanity.
