After the shit he pulled at Absinthe Lounge last night, I hope nobody shows up for this show. Wouldn't normally say that and would never directly disparage an event being held at a local venue that supports the music. But this guy is just the ultimate prick and needs his little heroin addict looking ass kicked. Just uncool

*shrug* sounds like a lot of hearsay. He was nice when I saw him in Austin earlier this year. So I'll take the old saying that there are 2 sides to every story. I'm all about seeing him tonight in Dallas, and I'll make my own judgements. Besides, I don't plan to be hanging with the dude, so I don't care how he is in person

Oh and i take back all the things I said about his mouse head. The new one was way better than the old one. The eyes lit up and pulsed to the beat, changing colors to whatever mood the music was currently in. And it looks better in blue than the red too.

3am, the place was still way packed and he just kept goin'

you think so? i like the blue one better coz its ALOT lighter than that red one.. the only thing that bugs me out the blue one is that the mouth part opens up wider (which warren thought would be easier for me to see out of) but as soon as a flood light hits the thing... i cant see shit! so its a bit of a pain. but hey, better that then the thing weighing a ton.

working on a new green one now with some crazy ass new LED tech for the eyes... stupid head.. hehe.. always a work in progress. Fun as hell to be able to get your hands into a goofy lil project tho!

as for rumor control... admittedly yeah, i did snap at some chick for offering me "any drugs i wanted"... im not a fucking junkie, and in fairness... don't like to be treated like one.

but that's just superficial "will blow over in a week" bullshit.

as for the rest of my time in TX.. you guys fucking murdered it for me... had alot more fun this time around than SXSW... looking forward to coming back whenever you'll have me again guys!

yeah, i could tell the red light was reflecting inside the head and against the mesh mouth. I couldn't tell if it was a light inside of your head or a light coming in from outside. I have 4 pet rats, and thought about bringing one in a pouch, but didn't want to get kicked out. lol They can rave it up.

Met you in Austin during the SXSW party and you seemed super nice, so I figured there was 2 sides to the story. Hell, I would have responded like that too. I'm just disappointed that all of the times I head out to Absinthe for the Teksuprt show, that was the one night I didnt go.

Can't wait for the next Deadmau5 show!

I'm assuming this question is pointed to me. So, I'll answer this way.

I think he has talent. You can't deny that. I play some of his tracks and more of his remixes. But, have some fucking respect. If you can't be cordial to people (and I'm not just talking about this one isolated incident on Friday) then you don't need to tour or play events. Just produce and stay in your fucking hole. He disrespects fans, disrespects other artists (I know this first hand) and basically doesn't respect the entire music scene. It's all about the Mau5 if you ask him.

No, I didn't go to the show. From what I heard from others, kinda glad I didn't. I'm not 'butthurt' in the least. Just don't understand why some people that popular feel the need to be total douchebags.

Jonas, you can't expect that every big name DJ just stepped off of a Disney set with smiles and super nice to every single person at every single moment of every day. The people that I know that have met him have always said he was super nice. Hell, and I'm good friends with Marcus Schossow of all things! LOL I'm sure with the Houston show getting cancelled, then wanting to go out with people approaching you constantly when you are just trying to enjoy a nice night out, then being treated like just because you play rave music must mean that you are a druggie....shit, i'd be very aggravated.

And I don't think Matias or Locklear were upset about him coming to their show and being a butthead, cause both of them were at deadmau5 last night too. They seemed to have a really good time.

This Absinthe incident was the first I have ever heard of this. I really don't think it's much to worry about. And I don't understand that you didn't go see him last night just because of that fact. Just seems like a ridiculous reason. I'm not the only one that said the show kicked ass. Everyone is raving about it on ddm, so I know it's just not my bad taste in music! LOL

ps, i heard that Sasha is a complete asshole. But I'll be seeing him next month not because of his personality.

pedobear - hell effin yeah! You know it's a good show when it's past 3am and the place is still packed wall-to-wall!
