Like my grandparents and aunt and uncle It's not that they haven't heard he's not a muslim; they just don't believe him

Well, if you understood what socialism was, you wouldn't be calling Obama's policies "socialist".

Republicans have branded anything that doesn't fall under Reagan's trickle down idea as "socialism" now...

Posted by BTG on Aug-30-2008 05:54:

you fucking stupid americans.

Obama spent 25 minutes talking about what he's going to change and how he's going to give you all tax breaks, and he spent 1 sentence on how he's going to pay for it.

it's fucking rubbish and you all are stupid for believing in all of it.

granted, mccain is an old man who's not even going to live till election day, still...it wasn't captivating or magical.

stupid fucking americans.

Oh shut up you retard.

You're why people think Canada sucks, you fucking judas.

Posted by BTG on Aug-30-2008 06:03:

no. you americans are idiots.

ron paul was the best candidate and you guys blew it.

barack is black, and controversial and thats why you fucking stupid americans are like "WOW he must be what we need." just because he's anti bush.

i'm drunk, so i might seem harsh, and i actually like him as a speaker...but i mean, you can't buy half the shit he's selling...he's promising too much for an economy that's so tits deep in shit.

Hahahahahaha, sorry, I had to stop and catch my breath. You obviously know absolutely nothing about American politics and you just wanted to inject your two cents as expertise, coming from a Canadian where everything is perfect and all candidates are shining beacons of public service.

I'm glad that you can see right through the charade of American politics even though you've never taken the time to study it. Canadian experts on this US Presidential election really do come a dime a dozen these days.

Have you been paying attention, or is this just like a gut feeling or something? Because it comes across very uninformed.

+1

Take it from a Canadian who has proven he knows what he's talking about.

Yeah, I've totally ignored the first 19 months of this election too.

I'm going to tell you what I told RJT, just ignore his retarded Ontario ass.

So many people in that province have this notion that they are superior to Americans simply because we don't shoot each other as often and that we have "free" health care.

They also think 99% of Americans are 600 pounds and that the most "out there" candidate (IE: Ron Paul) is by far the best pick because he doesn't think quite the same way. It's retards like him that vote NDP up here and think it's to our benefit, surprise the NDP are communists in every sense of the word. Just like Ron Paul is off his fucking rocker on so many issues.

This discussion is making me miss the days when Paultards invaded internet forums and we got to shoot them down one by one.

no no, i can tell you're well informed on the matter because of your eagerness to argue with me, and i'll have non of that because i am very well uninformed.

but like i said, most of you guys here (and i'm guessing dimwitted america) are going to base their vote on this speech vs mccains speech next week or whenever.

and ftr. i dont vote ndp, ever.

ps. was ron paul really that bad? he seemed so sincere and nice.

Posted by Alex on Aug-30-2008 06:24:

Ron Paul is the Jack Layton of the USA but with more values and less of a sexual attraction to news cameras.

Why the fuck would you? You're a Canadian, and Obama is talking about Americans. I'm sure you know a lot about us and our political system. What's there not to like about the speech? If I recall, he made something like 25 references to specific policy changes. What kind of retarded acception speech would it be if he went up there and talked about policy the entire fucking time? Anybody who has paid attention to the election the past few months know what his policies are.

You have not paid attention, and you are Canadian, so GTFO of the American politics thread.

I hope all the idiots in this country base their opinion off his speech, because it was a fucking good speech.

As for you, leave the politics discussion to the adults who actually know what the fuck they're talking about.
