As far as the scene in boston goes, there is simply not enough demand like there used to be fora club the size of Avalon, as sad as that is its true.

What boston needs is a similar style club to Cielo, like 4-600 capacity with a nasty sound system..imo

yea. i wish the scene was bigger i dont know whats up with boston haha. thats good about kingsize tho

i've never been able to figure it out... i just don't get how a place like NYC, only 4 hours away, could have SO many big djs coming into town all the time yet boston gets no one... it's funny to think that i actually miss avalon... i took it for granted back then...

The good nights are not at the big clubs right now - That's what's up with Boston. Trance/Big name acts are guaranteed draws but not events that will keep a city's scene moving. LA is probably the best place in the US apart from NYC right now due to its thriving again underground scene

I know dude, you dont know what you have until its gone.... But i have had a lot of fun at some of the smaller parties that patrick, Mark and Andy have played. But for big events, i guess you gotta travel down to NYC. But i miss having Armin,Ferry, Above & Beyond, and PVD playing at least once a year, soemtimes twice.

Also, hopefully the event at marina bay will help bring in some talent this summer....i thought that was a sweet venue and would be nuts if the weather was good.

How long have u been going out in Boston?

The scene really peaked around 1999-2002 basically when I first was going out to clubs. It's just nowhere close to where it was years ago these days
