here is where i think one of the problems lie in regards to giving you access to the stage....

if your videos are for private use like you and diginut claim they are and the club gives you access or media pass to go on stage then they will have to allow everyone that has a camera on stage to be fair to all. and here is another thing that you may have overlooked.... you are not media. private use does not qualify as media.

This is true, but what other term could be used to get stage access. I'm just looking for a different method of making the videos. I've hit every other angle in the club so it only makes sense to be able to get video from where the DJ's are. Shots of them performing and being able to see the crowds reactions at the same time. I'm not media... but the opportunity to record near the DJ's would be great from time to time.

Well, the one time that we had a videographer record our set in the Gallery 3 years ago, we got clearance from Guv and a media pass for him.

So, you should probably have been proactive and got the same right off the bat.
