these are my favs at the moment, they are kinda cheesy, but most of the recommendations here are cheesy too so i thought you guys might like those

anyway i feel the need to mention some more of my favorite bands that fellas here didnt mention will be happy to give recommendations on albums -

Breaking benjamin
Chevelle
Incubus
Klaxons
Korn
Three days grace
Trust company

most are mainstream and well known, i just happen to like that anyway enjoy,

BTW i dunno about new stuff especially i just hear what sounds good to me, so some might have old albums, i dont know how much that matters...

Thanks, I already like most of those bands...specially Cold and Incubus.

The reason I'm asking for 'new' music is because I've been kinda tuned out from rock music for the past 5 years or so due to that fucking emo invasion. I like bands that can actually play their instruments and are not the equivalent of the 'Deadmau5 8th note sound' if you know what I mean. It's pretty much an attempt to catch up with the good new stuff that is coming out these past years.

hey mate the beauty about music is that you can hit mute every time you want, that's how i deal with music i don't like but i fully understand you there...

The Blood Brothers have made some of the most perfect music to have seizures to. Plus their lyrics are well-written.
