Don't get me wrong, I don't claim to know Derek well at all - but just having been able to hang out with him a few times several years back and seeing where he's gotten too over the past handful of years has put a smile on my face.

Him and Troxler both.

He was fun as proverbial fuck to party with at afters, just dancing around and screaming incredibly random shit. Not to mention the fact that he's technically fantastic. Teased the crowd off and on with different parts Audion's mix of Olga Dancekowski for about 90 minutes before finally bringing the whole thing in. Epic.

I was there for this set and didn't think it was anything special?

Favourite for me would be Carl Craig @ Space Ibiza

i choose airbase, especially like a producer, because i could'nt be at so much trance party

I've really been out of the liveset scene lately and even in past have rarely gone to nightclubs and live events, in part out of laziness and because now I live in the wrong part of the country.

For me though I've really enjoyed podcasts by VSS Deejay. I can't even remember how I came across them but his Global Energy Sessions are a pleasure to listen to. Just my kind of sound.

Hahah. That reminds me of WMC...I was watching them destroy Set around 6am, and we were up front yelling at them and Philip grabbed his giant bottle of grey goose and handed it down to us. Passed it around the front and gave it back. Awesome.
