I spent 6 years in Canada and anytime the word "American" was said, people just jumped at the opportunity to talk negatively about Americans.. and even on this forum, there is so much shit talking about Americans all the time. It seems that Canadians are just bothered by anything American.. why? that's what I'm trying to figure out.. It might have nothing to do with or affect any of your lives in any way, but it bothers you. |
unlike most of you down there people here arent that selfish and they care about what happens around them including what goes on in other countries.

Although the problem lies within the current administration....
I think what frustrates Canadians (me anyways) is these politicians are getting democratically ELECTED into office. People are voting them in, its rediculous. I just watched all the youtube videos in this post and it sickens me how ignorant and uneducated these people are. Calling Barack Obama a terrorist? Are you kidding me here? Just because his name isnt John Smith they assume he's arabic, and of course in America that automatically makes him a terrorist. The problem I have lies with their thought process. They sing 'God Bless America' like its going out of style, yet do not care enough to educate themselves on the deciding factors of this presidential race enough to look past the arabic sounding name of the democratic nominee. When i go to Europe in the summers, i have to go and buy Canadian flag patches to put all over my backpacks and jackets so god forbid nobody mistakes me as an american and treats me like shit. Come on, 8 years ago Bush took control, invaded two countries that he had no right to go into, ruined international relations and watched the economy head into recession. BUT 4 years ago he was re-elected for another term! It makes no sense to me. I think someone said it earlier but America deserves Obama right now. IMO he has the potential to dramatically improve international relations and undo much of the troubles that 8 republican years bring. Good Luck Barack, this ones yours to lose.

I watched the 1st minute or so of the video then i started to scroll down and read the posted comments. As i am listening to what people are saying i am;
a) Laughing at the lamer(s) in the video and what they are saying.
"Obama is terrorist because he is a Muslim"
Hmmmm i guess every Muslim is a terrorist. I will line up everyone, can somebody arrange the firing squad?
And then we had genius who could not even pronounce Obama. He screwed up the pronunciation twice in 1 sentence. I wish and hope that whichever representative these people are supporting does get elected. Stupid + Stupid = you guessed it right STUPID! and when you have the same leading a country then you can bet your last dollar that end result is not going to be pretty. I wish people would understand this concept because every nation, every great empire, every great dynasty did come to an end sooner or later and most of them through hands of their own people. History has proven that time and again.
b) Comments posted by the readers. Some of the comments are no better than the comments being made in the video. We are pointing out how idiot they are but showing our own idiocy. Way to go.

perhaps canadians are just upset with the fact that the democratic system that so greatly effects us on a moment by moment basis, is corrupted with misinformation. im not biased really on the political choice they make, im more upset with the fact that americans have no idea why they're making the choices they are, and the negative connotations/reprocautions that occur when they vote the way they do.
i mean really... how rediculous is it that americans declare democrats to be commi's. are you kidding me, the democratic party of the states is the equivilent of our PC party. not even blindly close to commi, or even socialism for that matter. hell it doesnt even splat into liberal on the polisci tree.
it just appears that the average american over the age of 25 has no idea what the policitcal spectrum even looks like. if they want to vote democratic, or conservative, good for them. thats their choice. but NOT knowing why, or what that party represents and still voting hole heartedly is absurd.
This is the John McCain I supported and admired circa 2000, not the radical, neo-con puppet that he's being turned into.
