these videos are pretty deceptive. some things people should realize about it...
first, this guy it pretty tiny. when he started he weighed 147 and when he ended he weighed 140. small people usually can look bigger quicker. normal height people are not going to show that much progress so quickly.
second, this guy is already in good shape with a normal amount of body fat. by his calculations he was about 14% body at the start. that is already better than just some average joe. you can tell even at the begining of his 16 weeks he has been working out for some time.
not trying to take anything away from his progress or anything but just trying to take a realistic perspective. he does have some cool ideas for exercises and very solid cardio and eating advise.

Speaking of 'elite sports' and the such, I think F1 pilots are usually underappreciated in terms of practice, stamina, discipline and so forth.
Not so long ago I was sucked in by this Discovery channel doco about how F1 pilots are trained months before the season and it surprised me because they have to train just as hard as any other athlete (swimmer, runner, and the such).
From the top of my head, i remember that they do run daily and keep a balanced diet (under supervision) while also having to take 'real-time' rephlex examinations using, what i would suitably call, 'video games and CGI modules'.
lol
I'd be fairly confident in saying 99% of people wouldn't be able to do 30 pullups. I'm a fairly strong guy and I can probably manage to do say 16 or so with good form, but 30, no way. Most of the people who can manage to do that many pullups are usually small, light, strong guys.. All the big, strong, heavy guys wouldn't have a chance in hell doing that many.
I weigh 94kg (or 207lbs), so 16 is pretty good I reckon !

30 chinups is pretty hard to get to. if you can do 30 chinups you should be able to do at least 3 1 handed chinups
the workout seems to be fairly light with the exception of the chinups. (IF your originally a skinny guy). thats not going to get you looking like the guys in 300. u need heavier weights for sure. plus a nice cgi guy for touch ups
