the greenview hotel at lincoln + washington is cheap. buuuuut, you get what you pay for. i went to maiami during the off season and stayed there. worst hotel stay of my life. but, if youre looking for something cheap, its in a great location.
T-shirts are a great idea
Can't wait to see all of my Ta brethren at the WMC next year. This is going to be my first one so I'm supper psyched;see ya there!

But if you want to do it on the cheap, then by all means get creative. I think the key here is to never wait until the last minute, unless you can afford the luxury of doing whatever (financial planning, see above ) |

if ur gunna do wmc u gotta do it big...i agree its not a week to worry about money. ur down there to party, relax and let loose. the only thing that needs to really be paid upfront is booking the hotel. other than that there is plenty of time to save up money for all the rest.
I want the hook up
I want a hook up with you and your people lol!![]()

We stayed in a 6 person hostel room for like $25/person/night with a bunch of friends. If you have a group of friends then you don't have any security concerns with your belongings. There are some nice hostel options in SoBe on Collins and Washington and it's fun b/c you get to meet a lot of cool people from overseas who are obviously all about the music hanging out in the bar and on the patio. Last year we dropped $150/person (w/tax) for 4 nights. Having said that, we're going for the week and getting a private room. - Party Tickets ~ $300 should be enough for 5 big shows (we did 4 big shows and 1 boat party). We saved hundreds by pre-buying tickets. Also, there are lots of free (beatport) pool parties around. - food, drinks, cabs, eTC can vary by the person. There are lots of really tasty and affordable places to eat (when you actually do eat), but drinking can get pricey. WMC is one of my favorite times of the year and I'm looking forward to meeting up with some TAs this year. |

I'm there fosho. Need to begin the planning process now.
Usually the best time to book flights are in January.
For booking hotels the earlier the better. You can try to call the hotels directly for better prices. For the 3 years that I've been attending, I've spent from $1000 - $2500
DCTA over here.
I just got a sweet deal on a hostel located on Collins & 3rd. The place is called Jazz Hostel (google it).
I booked a private twin suit for tuesday-sunday, for $204 and that covers the entire week. Im the only guest so I basically have a room to myself, and that gets rid of all theft issues.
Also it comes with free breakfast, free wifi, a fully stocked bar, no curfew, and its right in the Art Deco district, and just blocks away from all the WMC action.
You guys should really check this out.

| Originally posted by California LT Just a heads up, we stayed at Jazz last year. Very decent hostel, really close to the beach, and not too far of a walk/bus ride away from most of the action. I would double check that you got the right rate b/c that sounds a little low. I would guess that you got a bed in a dorm room. If it's legit, you got the best deal in SoBe! Another great option is the Tropics Hotel/Hostel. In my opinion, the best price based on location in SoBe. |
looking at booking a condo, just cant decide where......SoBe or downtown where ill be doing most of my partying......ugh...decisions decisions!
