If he lost his record box the day of a gig, whose record box would he borrow?

Best small clubs he ever played in?

What is the most important thing he looks for in a record when he's shopping? Any special characteristics?

Most uncomfortable experience ever at a gig?

Favourite drink?

Is he planning to keep on partying forever, or does he think he'll eventually get tired of it all?

If he were to take an hot air balloon trip, who would he pick to go with him?

How did he get into this whole dj'ing business in the first place?

Make sure to make a lot of gay remarks when you write down the interview afterwards.

why are they giving someone with no experience an interview with DH?

Hence, the need of getting questions from us here at the cor

When will he start to spin good music?

Posted by wotyzoid on Oct-17-2008 22:19:

Ask him what he thinks of deadmau5.

edit: damn it, I'm late again.

Ask him if he could play alongside one other dj , alive or dead, who would it be?

Pertinent information.

That's actually the track I had in mind when I wrote the question, but I wasn't sure if he just wrote that for the liner notes of the GU release. And that was like four years ago now (yikes!), so maybe he's found something even better since then that he's just been waiting to drop.

But yeah, bomb track.

Ask him if he'll do an RA podcast mix.

And also whats the name of the fourth track that plays on his website.

Let him give a shoutout to deadmau5.

Above & Beyond?

Posted by echoform on Oct-18-2008 10:54:

Does he have any other artistic hobbies? (ie drawing, design)

What was his inspiration for his new Renaissance comp?

If he had a Panda.. What would he name it? Would he shave it?

Animals?

Ask him where he got that hideous shirt that he wore on the cover of GU: Miami.

I think someone asked him once, but the only answer they got was 'I can smell a nasty shirt from miles away.'....which he can.

Maybe you'll have better luck. That shirt is awesome.

Seriously, I don't have any interview worthy questions because I really don't know that much about the man. I will say that it is wise to record the interview then transcribe it later. If you do, make sure to practice flowing the questions together without ums, uhs, and the lot. I had a big problem interviewing Eric saying "okay/alright sweet" after everything he said. That just was odd.

Cool to hear you're getting to do this. Have fun with it.

Posted by winston on Oct-18-2008 21:43:

hahaha yeah and don't forget to record it.
