Anyone who considers themselves a movie fan needs to see this movie NOW.

Maybe I'm a complete sucker for considering a blockbuster money-fest as a movie one would look forward to, but I'm intrigued by the new Transformers if only cause Wahlberg's introduction is taking the series into a new direction. Almost like a reboot, but not quite, as some of the actors from the previous three are returning, providing some evidence that they are trying to breath new life into the franchise while still holding true to the original foundation that the first three were based off of.

Yes, its a bunch of explosions and robots fighting, but if I want life-changing cinema, I'll wait till around Christmas time for the Oscar bait to hit theaters. Summer time is all about the mindless mayhem that displays the latest in what visual effects artists are capable of, and I'm all for seeing what they can do.

Godzilla should be interesting, the Wachowski's latest should be alright (kudos to Channing Tatum for trying something a little different) and......wait for it.....I'm interested how the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will turn out. Trailer premieres alongside the new Captain America.

No need to be a jaded movie critic...there's a place for the heartfelt, provocative indies, and a place for the actionfests. I'll side with both.

And who could forget Interstellar...probably the most anticipated movie of 2014. Every time Chris Nolan is behind the lens, people get talking and movie lovers get reminded of why blockbusters can be awesome.

I thought this was going to be a thread where you take one character (in the name, not a character of the movie) out of the movie title and make up a new synopsis for it.

Here are some I'd like to see:

Cool Runings - follows the trials and tribulations of Jamaica's first Runescape team making it to comic con.

Tar Wars - Nerds fighting over the best form of file archiving methods.

30 - Sparta is crushed by Persia after a ridiculously poorly planned and under-manned invasion

iTanic - The story of the downfall of the once mighty Apple Computer Company

Loser - follows the story of a wimpy man who cries himself to sleep after he falls in love with a stripper and she breaks his heart. Oh wait.
