Random fact:
Ants can survive in a microwave because they're able to evade the radiation that would else heat up the water in their bodies. They're small enough to go to spots where there are no waves.
Of course they're fucked if you use a rotating plate.

That reminds me, I gotta play me some Mistress Barbara, stat!

Posted by walcott on Nov-01-2008 00:16:

she was a really cool singer, true story. Not famous or anything but she loved music & I helped her get a couple of gigs at this Spanish bar/restaurant...

Posted by bamski on Nov-01-2008 00:25:

Good for you, and her

But more importantly, was she satisfied with her microwave?

Were you satisfied with her microwave?

And how about the microwave(s) at the bar/restaurant?

May I see your microwave? Always been fascinated by finns and how well they clean their microwaves.

Maybe later on I can buy you a nice pie from a cafeteria with a good microwave, downtown.

Only time I've been like 'Wow' over a microwave is when I used it to play horrible cd's I don't like.

Nope. That's about as personal as asking nudepics of my gf.

Finns are very protective of their microwaves, they need a little privacy too.

I cooked some Lean Pockets in my microwave this morning.

Posted by bamski on Nov-01-2008 16:14:

What's Lean? Is it mean? Like a machine?

No, they are Hot Pockets with less fat but all the same terrible taste.

Posted by bamski on Nov-01-2008 16:21:

Terrible taste? Like yours in music?

See one page back for details, Mr. Fingers.

Things to do...

Put a lit match in the microwave (cool floating fireballs!)
Slice a grape into quarters and microwave (super flames!)

Reading this made me chuckle.

Like some, I don't use the microwave too often but mine seems to heat faster than some that I've used in the past. If you normally take 40 seconds to warm something up...mine takes about 25.

You should enter your microwave in the Appliance Olympics.
