Of course she is. They spent $150,000 on her wardrobe alone, how many millions do you think they will spend to try and steal it?

Bush: 'Can I Stop Being President Now?'

November 4, 2008 | Issue 4445

WASHINGTONIn a press conference held this morning on the White House lawn, President Bush formally asked the assembled press corps and members of his own administration if, in light of today's election, he could stop being the president now. "So it's over, right? Can I stop being president now?" Bush said after striding to the podium in a Texas Rangers cap and flannel shirt, carrying a fully packed suitcase. "Let's just say I'm done as of now. Presidency over." When informed by Washington Post reporter David Broder that his presidency would continue through early January, Bush stared at him quizzically, sighed, and shuffled silently back into the White House.

I hope Lawler takes it

My reaction from NYC newsreports this evening:

Does anyone else find it weird that there have been MAJOR issues with the voting booths in both Brownsville and Newark? Forcing the voters to vote by paper only?

I just find it interesting that this is occurring at two very highly-populated african-american areas. Some of the voters are seriously pissed that their paper votes may "magically dissapear."

What do people really think will happen if Obama wins? He cannot live up to the hype, neither candidate can.

I thought this was pretty good:

Obama will win and be assassinated 6 months and 7 days into his term

Posted by DannyPINK on Nov-04-2008 23:24:

My thoughts and those who want to bring up the assasination topic are that they are undereducated about what really matters and just want to be a part of the coversation.

It's getting old. If it happens it will be one of the saddest days in US history on par with 9-11.

I hope to be hearing that Obama wins.

Its looking worse and worse. Voting booths in predominately black area's malfunctioning, paper votes dissapearing (or so is has been said...). I swear I hope this is not true (the booth story is 100% true, but the paper vote story is yet to be confirmed). If there is a voting conspiracy for mccain to win, I am moving to canada.

wow hahah thats just bull! I can't believe that lol

Posted by StereoPrincess on Nov-05-2008 00:13:

as of now.

kentuky - mccain

vermont - obama

mccain - 8 electoral votes
obama - 3 electoral votes

Posted by Skipper on Nov-05-2008 00:17:

Mc Cain is ahead in Indiana and Virginia so far....but only a small amt of votes counted so far.

I want to have a nap so I can wake up later and see the end. Does anyone else (not American) feel almost overwhelmed with what an important election this is? Look at the number of people coming together in Chicago...it's intense. I really fear for major backlash if this goes to McCain, particularly if it's close.

other than 9/11, i feel like i am watching some serious history unfolding here. if it goes to mccain, it would be even more weird and historic. things will go down. either way. riots everywhere!

That's pretty scary if it's true (the disappearing votes that is)

Yeah, that's a good way of describing it.
Both candidates would be making history if elected - Obama for being black and McCain for being...old.

Florida looks like it's leaning Democrat, and that's 27 electoral votes...huge. Which state counts for the most?

^ ^ ^ What the Loo said. "Wow" at such a thing even being suggested (or suspect, if there's any legitimacy to it)... ...

Unbelievable (that this is really true).

Unbelievable (if indeed this is really true).
