is that what you think? it was one of those "for those who know" type of rooms? hahahaha stop living under a rock, justin. the only thing that deterred people from going in to that room when they walked past the door was the smell.

lol you'd be surprised how many regular club-goers don't know bout gallery. but once they find out about it they get sucked into its dark hole and love it. it took me 4-5 times going to guv to find the place just cuz my main focus was guv and the drink.

a while back, almost every flyer for guv had gallery listed on there so i find it hard to believe how the regular club-goers didnt know about it. they probably saw it but didnt give it much thought. also, based on the things that you say on this forum i would have to assume that these club-goers that you may socialize with are not the most intelligent or observant.

Yup. But the atmosphere usually made you look past the smell, or any other negative characteristics.

funny thing is majority of club-goers dont like gallery just because of the "dirty" and "smelly" aspects of that room. if they can get that room better ventilation (and better sound) then it has the potential to be truly amazing. i can honestly say that ive never had a good time in gallery to the point there i wanted to stay for more than 10 minutes. the music/talent is good but the people in there are absolutely disgusting.

same here.

there have been a couple of exceptions but on the whole i've never really had a good time in that room. the drink on the other hand, i've always had fun up there.

Oh come on it can't be any worse than the room in your parents basement where you live.

I personally am offended that the icons of the Toronto house scene are being treated like ass.

Its a short sighted response to a larger problem; and I've lost a lot of respect for the people who've made this decision.

The people need to speak up & take action !!

anyone good at drawing up petitions?

you might think that it is a bad decision but it could give m+s the opportunity for bigger and better things.
