saw helstrip play last night
expect win!

Posted by Trance Nutter on Feb-07-2009 03:53:

Solarstone was fucking fantastic last night. He was awesome.........

........for all 30 people who turned up (yes I actually did a headcount). Go Adelaide!

I needed to take a piss at one stage but had to hold on otherwise the dancefloor would have been completely empty

Posted by kelsta on Feb-07-2009 22:30:

Didn't head down there till the temp dropped 20 degrees so caught Thrillseekers and Solarstone, both were decent. Saw a bit of Liebing too.

Set up was good, easy to move around the stages, room to dance and no lines for anything, either they didn't sell enough tickets or the heat made people leave early or not go at all

Either way it was better for everyone who was there

Posted by DJ Marak on Feb-07-2009 23:14:

im thinking it would have to have been the heat that turned people away.... i highly doubt that people we not interested in the festival... just very unfortunate for the guys who threw the party that we had such bad weather...

in saying that, the dude with the hose spraying everyone was awesome!!! made me feel 10,000 times better getting soaked, really cooled ya down!!!

i was up on the bridge behind the HQ for a while just to get away from the sound n give my ears a little rest, so it was nice up there, saw that punch on and all, dude falling through the fence LOL messaged walter about it n he laughed his head off bout the fight he eh he he.

freaking awesome day, woulda been a tonne better if it was a good 15 degrees colder, but once that change came through, it was a God send for sure!!! ill put up some pics later otherwise they will just go on face book

i remember a few ye olde firetrucks at earthcore the year i went (04?) where they had people settling the dust with water cannons and in turn, soaking the punters - was beaautiful... then we went swimming in the goldburn river ahh good times..

Posted by DJ Marak on Feb-07-2009 23:57:

lol yeah pouring rain... we r getting screwed over... QLD = FLOOOOOOODED big time!!!! VIC = dry as a granny's *bleep* .... make sence of that.... not cool

who ever it is that orders around the hirculese and elvis water bombers should make em go up to QLD, soak up some water, bring it down here n dump it where its needed.... DONE!!!!!

i know its probably not that easy... but farout it would be good if it could happen!

Posted by narcism on Feb-08-2009 00:06:

kyau and albert were good
helstrip was awesome

yeah i know :S such a bumber... but if it were actually practicle, it could actually balance out both ends of the scale a bit.... another one of those "what if" issues

feel gutted about how many people have died and for the ones still alive that have lost everything.... makes me feel a bit worse that i was enjoying myself while people were dying.... feels terrible

Posted by sunrise3500 on Feb-08-2009 10:46:

well I wasn't here for this one, but I did get to see thrillseekers anyways on friday night, so here's some pics from that to make up for my absence!

if that's still not good enough, try this

and here's some shots of Kyau & Albert from October
