-- US Cabinet?

lol @ Richardson. This is a pretty lame attempt to shift blame away from the incoming administration too. They should have done their own homework on Richardson once they heard about the investigation. In the end, they have the responsibility to make acceptable appointments for Cabinet positions. The wheels on the bus go "thump, thump, thump"!

No change....another Clinton crony, Leon Panetta, named to head the CIA. Someone wake me up please. He has zero experience in intelligence and he's going to head up the CIA... and why, you ask? I guess because of his staunch stance against torture. Or is it so Obama has a solid "yes man" at the top of that food chain?
Oddly enough, in 1993 Panetta tried to force downsizing and budget cuts to the CIA's intelligence capabilities.... sweet! This is getting unbearable.

i have no idea whats going on

| A CIA director who has denounced torture, advocated intelligence cuts, and backed greater congressional control of covert operations--that would be....different. This appointment certainly has the potential to spark opposition from inside and outside the agency. But if Panetta manages to make it to Langley without much fuss, that would indeed signal real change in Washington. |

| I was not informed about the selection of Leon Panetta to be the CIA Director. I know nothing about this, other than what Ive read. My position has consistently been that I believe the Agency is best-served by having an intelligence professional in charge at this time. |
The more I read, the more I really like the Panetta pick.
