chaps, rather

this was the oil, lube, and filter change. very nice smooth set. almost straightforward - and that's not a bad thing - like someone said there's a few peak moments/tracks but for the most part the set keeps working at a steady groove. could work as afters or even more of an opener in my head. this is some good shit to get people in the mood for harder proggier stuff.

mixing phenomenal as usual. nothing clashed for me. thanks

Thumbs up

Clovis,
Is that place in the photo the actual place the after party took place?
Great place!
Btw im half into the mix and i really like it. It would be better to be there at 6 am and listen to that music but i can get the vibe from my house too.

Oh hello,

One download please.

I'm looking forward to listening and will let you know after work

Listening right now... about an hour in. Great flow for an afterhours mix. I disagree with not needing subs though. You think you don't need them, but once you get them you can't live without them. Overkill is necessary.

Couldn't get into Headband Techno, but this is much more up my alley... currently at 2:10 and LOVING this song ("Open your miiiind... ehh-ayyyyy"). Flows very well, after 2+ hours it's still managing to keep my attention, some tracks wouldn't be out of place in an RJT set either.

Nah, the booth is small and when you sit in the back behind the DJ the bass is pretty much perfect.

Glad you guys are enjoying the music.

I'm anal and I know for a fact that 8" monitors don't go down to 20 hz, but yeah they do sound amazing, but I'm a bass junkie.

Haven't finished listening to the whole thing, but I will definitely finish the rest of it later. Good music.

Yeah, at the same time, given thye hours at which we usually utilise them at high volumes, this lets us have fun without worrying about any complaints from neighbors. Freq response is listed as 37Hz 22kHz, and though that might not be the best it is more than adequate and the definition is crystal clear.

What I love about those monitors is that while mixing/beatmatching etc I can pick out and listen to pretty much whatever part of the track I want with no problems, which helps a lot when on drugs

Oh yeah at that time of the morning I have to keep my subs turned off. They don't power on until after 10am.

I don't know why, but I liked how you mixed Ryan Crosson - Sunshine Wave to Christian Burkhardt - Phey Boom.

I really like it, but neither of us can remember what it is, must have been Brett or Justin jumping in for a tune.
