I'm not anti artist royalties by any means, but I don't think the neglect of "clearing" samples makes anyone LESS of an artist...
(I'm not sure if that makes any sense, I'm having a hard time putting it into words lol)
think of all the brilliant madonna/michael jackson bootlegs floating around, 99% of the time the label will never clear said sample (and I understand why)... but that doesn't make the remix/bootleg any less great of a song and the artist any less of an artist...
(in that example the the bureaucracy of the music industry actually impedes the artists from creating...)

Yesterday we published a photo revealing Justices Gaspard Aug to be using a MIDI controller that wasnt plugged in, and now theyve responded to the allegations that the duo fake their live sets.
I couldnt remember the city but I think it was in Manchester, he said.
I didnt notice at first, because as you can see I was looking at the computer to launch the next vocal hook and right after I realised that the blue screen went black, so there was no way possible it could work. So I plugged it back in, big deal! And the next thing you know is this picture.
I guess well never know if thats a fib or not.

OMG...that is f'n hysterical. wow.
I thought it was funny that people were surprised at the amount of pre-programmed material in Daft Punk's Alive shows. Pretty much every one of their live sets sounded the same; same builds, same transitions, same order. It was the main reason I decided against seeing them when they were here.

....justice is served!
I am very disappointed as i love justice
It might be that that one of them doesn't know how to mix properly. In the 2006 I love Techno video you'll see Xavier literraly pushing the other dude out of the way to mix the tracks.
They might be right....
