Beatmaina ^^
I'm really curious to see how they are going to make a game for "DJing" I would assume it would be something similar as above.

In the latest form, the device looks a lot like a simplified DJ Deck. There is a platter for scratching which will act like the strum toggle on a Guitar Hero guitar. Above the platter are three buttons for sampling. The controller also includes a cross fader and a sound effects dial which will act like the whammy bar in Guitar Hero.

The game in its current form features all mash-ups, think Beyonce Vs Jimi Hendrix, 50 cent Vs Beastie Boys. If they can nail the interface and get licensing for the music this could be a mammoth hit |

Originally posted by AY STAR just when i though tiesto was done whoreing himself out and gonna go back to djing and productions, he pulls this crap i honestly dont think this is the right move for him or trance if that is his plan and for him to say hiphop and edm arent that different is kind of true cause today they are both made with computer software but the emotion and elements behind trance are nothing like hiphop i hope this will be an epic fail
Have you guys read some of the posts on that link?

Posted by svd_grasshopper ever since dj tiesto dropped the humble dj from his name and tried to be a brand name in hiself i.e. "Tiesto", his stuff has went commercial. his last good tune was 'carpe noctum' which translates into something like 'seize the night' (as opposed to carpe diem - seize the day) dark, delicious and instrumental. thats what i prefer, a far cry from some of his vocal 'radio friendly' pish. dont know if id say tiesto has chav followers (cause they dont have a clue about electronica) but due to him selling out, hes the most known big dj. and chavs try to pin themselves to that cause hes percieved as cool. (or used to be!) doesnt beat paul van dyk. a true humble yet superstar dj. cream had booked tiesto and pvd at a new years gig, and they wanted them to go back to back, but tiesto threw his toys out the pram and refused. cause hes get shown up. like, every second tune would be good!

Posted by Tim_3000_uk Awesome, i need this i love Tiesto, and im not a chav, Tiesto doesn't get chav followers cos his music isnt cheasy or for the uneducated
I don't think this will reach success like Guitar Hero. Maybe something like Dance Dance Revolution, which still has a pretty big following.
I don't think American kid's want to sit and mix lethal industry and traffic.
If anything they might do it if there was a gangster rap version of the game. With expansions to do techno, rock music, and anything else.
The way he's heading its not long before Tiesto is remixing gangster rap anyway
Then some of those photoshop pics from back in the day will come true

WORLD DOMINATION FOLKS.
He continues to get bigger and bigger!
elfreak you are a homo btw. just letting you know.
your going to be one of those 40 year ******s listening to progressive and still thinking he is cool
I fear for this game.
The only people I would actually trust up front with a DJ game like this is Harmonix. To say they least, the are the best developer of music games right now, period.
On their list?
Frequency (PS2) *Awesome game, with a great all around soundtrack. Lots of EDM*
Amplitude (PS2) *Sequel to Frequency. MOre focused on the mainstream market with its track selection, but still solid nonetheless*
Karaoke Revolution *bunch of them*
Guitar Hero
Guitar Hero 2
GH Rocks the 80s
---Left developing for Activision, signed with EA & MTV Games, and have developed...__
Rock Band
Rock Band II
Current project is a Beatle's based game.
They have done a solid job with a lot of their game. I LOOOVE Frequency. Just the music selection in it...it's awesome. While it's a rip off of Konami's Guitar Freaks in Japan, they started the whole Guitar Hero revolutoin...then went on to expand that into Rock Band after they departed development of stuff for Activisoin.
They have people on their team who know electronic music. THey have a solid background and even their worst stuff is steal very good for what it is.
This is not say that whoever is developing DJ Hero won't do a great job...just that I'd be confident up front if it were Harmonix, which it is most def not.
