we don't get a lot of complaints. At least not recently. We are very careful about keeping the noise at a reasonable level.

just leave it the way it is..

Footwork should stay exactly where it is. As much as I love the old Boa space, it's too large for a typical nicely-filled, comfortable sized crowd at FW. I know there have been nights that FW has reached capacity much to the dismay of people stuck outside but that's not the norm.
Also no alcohol at Boa. Sure the club tried to overcome this by raising the cover but would the majority of FW's patrons pay more?
I too am frustrated by the lack of an awesome after hours venue in town but I don't think it'll be solved by moving FW into Boa's space.
footwork really works in part because of the atmosphere of intimacy you get - that goes for the partiers there, the staff, the owners, and the djs.
every dj i know who's played there loves playing there. the setup is fantastic, the sound is good, you are RIGHT THERE with the crowd. makes it a great vibe. a lot of really bigger name djs that do play there enjoy it more than playing big clubs for this reason - you have to factor that into the vibe factor as well.
i love playing there for that reason and more, but i thought i'd mention that as a counterpoint to the occasional problem with it being rammed when a big name plays. yes it'll get rammed, but on the other hand, its ON!

There are no more noise complaints...
Footwork has been soundproofed and the volume levels are kept at the legal limit.

You can hear the music if you stand in that park on Adelaide right by the club. That's pretty loud.
