Ask him nicely. If he says no... well you probably won't like him anymore.

negotiate. tell your landlord that you will seek help from a third party & you will deduct the cost of the reparation by subtracting it from the up coming rent. Tell him that you can also deduct +25% of the cost, from every month until you recover all of your money.

Deducting it from the rent = recovered all the money. So then no +25% per month.

lol I meant 25% of the costs off from next month's rent = twenty-five percent OR a greater deduction

OR

Blowjob for free rent.

It's all about the choices that you make...

This is a good idea.

A couple of years ago, we had heat problems in our apartment at school and we were too lazy to actually call anyone (usually when they're going to come fix stuff, someone has to be there and all of us were too busy to actually stay in the apartment all day, waiting...) and after like a month or two of no heat, I ended up with strep throat and mono which wiped me out for 3 months and somehow I think if you're too cold maybe your immune system weakens...

Prolly not, but I always wondered if it could be related.

So I guess the point of my post is it might not be healthy to have a broken heater...
