Previous:
A producer at ABC News.

Now:
I'm a corporate disk jockey (I make my company's CDs & DVDs).

Not too happy with my current position... I would like to do something more challenging and rewarding.
I'm going to take classes next semester to fulfill science requirements. Thinking in one year to jump into psych PhD program, or Med school to become a psychiatrist if no other opportunities come my way.

I hate my job but am not actively looking for a new one with the way the economy is. Although I am open to a new job doing something in computers (with the exception of phone tech support for external customers. internal only) or some administrative position.

I currently work as tech support for a computer manufacturer. Previously I worked as an Exec Assistant and admin assistant.

I just completed my 4th year working for the Department of Homeland Security - Transportation Security Administration. I got a pretty phat promotion and I am not your typical screener although I am not at liberty to discuss my job title further.

I also DJ 3-5 nights a week making ALMOST as much money as my full time job.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

what economic crunch? ;-)

Oooo i might be going on an asian backpacking romp sometime soon and i might need a sitter for my corgi.. do any longterm sitting or just short term?

Posted by steppenwolf on Dec-09-2008 05:17:

Is that the Far Bar? I'm pretty sure that's where I was at a couple weeks ago. We talked to the bartender dude about his upcoming Thailand/Japan trip. I was a little bit concerned for him with the political demonstrations at Bangkok airport.

If I've got the right place, then I'd say it was a pretty cool bar. I'll definitely go back some time.

Overall, I think us TA's are doing the damm thing and managing to survive throughout these hard economic times!

Over the years, I'm sure we have shared the same dance floors, but I never knew that we represented such a wide range of professions.

Bravo Trance Addicts..... keep focus and enjoy this holiday season.

It wont be too happy for the tons of people that were laid off this year...

On a positive note, looking forward to George Acosta @ Nikita on the 20th. Perhaps we will cross paths. I will be the 1 of the 3 black guys there...lol!

Thinking about bringing the orbit and white gloves... we'll see!
