Throw-away city.

I don't know why I'm replying to such a pointless and stupid question but you're annoying me, so I'll explain.

I like all 4 tracks on the delano smith ep so I put it up as a full release instead of 4 separate places on my top ten, gives me more room for other stuff. is this alright with you? it's a top ten post on an internet forum does it really matter which format the release are in - you don't have to fuckin read it, I didn't think anyone did anyway..

Posted by Adam420 on Jan-06-2009 20:56:

I dunno man don't get so worked up. I was just curious

Why post something if you don't expect at lease a few people to read it. I thought this thread would have some good recommendations that's why I looked it over.

Motorcitysoul - Space Ktzle (Jerome & Sydenham Remix)
Matt Masters - Deep or What? (Milton Jackson Remix)
Timo Maas & Santos - Chinese Massage
Nina Simone - Sinnerman

Yeah I actually think there is a fair amount of decent PLUR in the original bootleg they made with Be, other than that NO.

Not me. That one is maybe the worst of the bunch as far as I'm concerned.

So I've stopped doing that and I rely more on the New Releases / CD Discussion forum. There, people only post about 1 release at a time usually, and the average quality of the titles there is higher.

You really aren't even making any sense.

From what I gather you assume everyone steals their tracks before they're released only too look cool charting them, but then you go and find samples of these "unreleased" tunes (meaning *gasp* they're released?!?), and decide you don't like them, so you're anti "Top ___" threads because they don't help you, and you proceed to assume no one else could really like the tracks you don't enjoy either, especially the people charting them.

Whatever you're on, I'll take three.

Times like this I need to take some time off from the internet. I'll be back on friday with a positive mental attitude and a couple music recommendations

Maybe it's the guido influence around here. I heard it at a party and everyone went completely beserk, it was kinda cool.

I raved my face off to Gabriel & Dresden "Let Go" (Blake Jarrell and Topher Jones Mix) on more than one night in 2008.

There's a time and a place for it all - for me, fortunately, that time and place was when I was 8 for "Show Me Love"

I don't know how in fuck I missed that last Rozzo release, but thank you Mr. Barry for getting me in the know.

Just picked up both sides - couldn't be closer to the vibe of most of what I'm playing these days.

If you like that definitely check out the Rene Breitbarth release - I charted Static but the flip side Carrie is pretty cool as well. I also recommend checking out The Mountain People - Mountain006.2 I love that sort of stuff for afterparties/beginning of the night kind of vibes especially although I don't mind hearing that sort of stuff all night personally ha.

Eh I really can't get into that record. Its like Manuel Tur meets Brothers' Vibe and they both had a bad day

May I suggest a more suitable alternative: Lovebirds - In the Shadows

The title track is the best I think

OR Theo Parrish - Get Got

that's hot too Nice and techy

Lovebirds don't do it for me. Kreon's remix of "The Rat" was amazing but his stuff is pretty boring in general.

Lol @ comparing Rozzo to Manuel Tur

I'm a huge Rozzo/Peter Dildo/Mountain People fan, so odds are the Lovebirds aren't going to do it for me in this vein

Though I'll echo Dubs comments and say Kreon's mix of "The Rat" is an absolute blast.

Edit: And I only say that with regard to playing Lovebirds productions - I actually rather like their stuff, but only really in the contest of their sets.

Well that's Lovebird's fault. he shouldnt have gone plural...that's just outright confusing

They absolutely sound the same. Have you listened to Manuel Tur & Dplay records on Drumpoet? Very similar to the Rozzo record mentioned in this thread
