Speaking of airline tickets...SO glad I bought mine through Flightnetwork. I booked with the same criteria on AA's site, just to see how much they charge for the same flight, and it was 1900 bucks!!

Yeah it was quite warm the last day. You knew a storm was in the air. Truly made for an epic ending to the festival.

I buy one way tickets allllllll the tiiiiiime and I never get searched. When I went to detroit I bought 2 round trip tickets and it was a mission to get my ticket ( wouldn't print at kiosk and at home)

Then when the attendant did print it - I had some weird code up on top.

So.... stfu. In my case it was like that. That's all I was saying. Of course there are other ways to get searched in the airport but after doing capsules.. it was a nightmare.

So is there usually a mad pack of TA COR-whores that end up running around when this goes on? Or does everyone pretty much do their own thing for the most part?

I'm doing my own damn thing. I'm barely going to have enough time to spend with my friends who I'm going with since I almost never get to see them otherwise. Why would I waste time running around with people from an internet forum?

Mel this was not an attempt to prove anyone wrong. I used to get searched EVERY damn time I flew when I was buying 1 way tickets. I got pissed and asked why I get searched every time. They said 1 way tickets are one of the biggest reasons people get searched. I quit buying 1 way tickets after that. Haven't had a problem since. It was no attempt at proving anyone wrong. If you want to take it that way, fine, but I was just trying to inform others that there are other criterion that are part of the "random" screenings.

I'm just curious because there are a few of you I wouldn't mind meeting in person.

I would like to don't get me wrong, but previous experiences have shown that it is tough to stick to a schedule and try to do and see everything you planned to in the middle of a sick festival.

TA's are fuking everywhere @ DEMF and believe it or not - it was one where we actually stuck around together.

Atleast this past year everyone was usually hanging around each other.

It's def not as complicated as a WMC. That one is more difficult to meet up with ppl.

DEMF is usually 2 big stages where you will see a group of TA's in either one. It is definitely possible to meet TA's @ DEMF.


Ben - I was talking about my first experience getting randomly chosen to get searched. This wasn't a convo on certain criteria where folks get searched.

Like Jenny said - I wouldn't wish it on anyone to get searched after DEMF

edit - also the afterparties were a great place to hang out with TA's too. A majority went to the Temp Tats party and alot of TA's also went to 9 to 5 but it was so pitch black in there that we didn;t even see each other! (which prob ended up being a good thing for some) rofl.

edit 2- FL.. CA and MW TA's were in full effect last year. I think there were 5 alone from Florida who aren't big COR Whores. So you will meet plenty-o-ta's

Just find one and then have them introduce the others to you. Keep doing this till you're satisfied. It is easiest.

Except Clovis. I didn't see Clovis till the 2nd day of DEMF . He's a lost soul @ DEMF but that is his MECCA.

oo yeah NE TA's were in full effect too.. There were alot of TA's that don't generally post in the COR (maybe once in a blue moon)

It's fun!! My bf hated the after parties (except for volatl since ppl watching was indeed a sport @ that party) but had a great time @ the festival. Which is good for such a strict trance head.

I've got WMC in March.. DEMF in May and a baby shower in Miami in JUNE!

I got a busy busy schedule + school. Fuk it .. This DEMF is the 10 year anniversary so it should be MASSIVE


NOW TA hotel? Yes or No! I vote yes!
