No, something is definitely up at access. No way would Sweetwater list them as "discontinued" if they were just holding off manufacturing... it would be listed as 'out of stock'.

Exactly. I have seen numerous products on Sweetwater that are listed in the results, but are out of stock. Sweetwater has this little message for out of stock products where they talk about "we can get it in 30 days., blah, blah, blah".

Plus, I don't trust anything on GC's sorry excuse for a website. That company would sell you waterfront property in Nevada if they thought they could get away with it.

2.7.5 is a nightmare for me. many projects won't open saying insufficient USB bandwidth when they worked 20 minutes prior : \

sorry, i saw a virus TI thread and hijacked it with a rant

i know why, but i cant tell

My money is on the TI mkII. I don;t see how it can be anything else. Other forums seem to agree with my assessment.

I saw a little flash ad on nova musik while ordering some gear that said something about TI version 2. I'll see if I can find it again.

Yeah, see i you can screenshot it if you find it.

Apparently, this thread got a plug on Matrixsynth.

Check it out:

it switches from a TI rackmount to a TI keyboard to a little thing that says Version 2 and then back to the rackmount. I didn't screencap the keyboard.

Hmm.. They might be referring to OS version 2?
Who is the lovely lady on your desktop btw?

I have no idea what it means. I was thinking the OS which is like 2.3 right now I think. I don't have a virus though so probably higher than that.

Katy Perry has huge tits!

Yeah I thought that as well, but it could be the new version of the hardware. There is a post on infekted.org that says the new version 2 virus will be announced Sun Jan 18 at 10am, but the guy would easily be pulling everyones leg.

Posted by Beyer on Jan-11-2009 18:03:

One whole week of speculation then.. Damn those guys!

Posted by Zild on Jan-11-2009 18:04:

Yeah it is fairly ambiguous. Just caught my eye and then I remembered this thread.

now here we talk: http://www.access-music.de/events/2.../virus_ti2.html

Posted by Eric J on Jan-15-2009 13:46:

I F'IN KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by thecYrus on Jan-15-2009 13:50:

and it's actually one of the best announcements i could hope from access only small cosmetic improvements and make the real enhancements available to all TI users! great stuff access

Posted by G-Con on Jan-15-2009 14:02:

Yep, I'm chuffed to bits that it looks as though all the software improvements and extra FX etc will be available for all TI users. Finally implented the sidechain through USB option as well.

Can't believe how many improvements and extras I've had free of charge since buying my TI

Posted by alanzo on Jan-15-2009 15:00:

I like the new design. Kinda retro.

Changes from what I can see:

No additional stereo outputs through USB ?

The FX section has independent delay and reverb per patch (even in multi mode),
along with multiple distortion/lo-fi algorithms, phaser, chorus/flanger, character
control
, ring modulator/shifter

"25% more voices" -- a pretty small upgrade.. was expecting double

Posted by Zild on Jan-15-2009 15:03:

I hope I didn't rat Nova Musik out. They always make me the best deals.

Posted by Eric J on Jan-15-2009 15:07:

Now the next big question:

HOW MUCH???????

None of the websites have it up for sale yet.

The improvements seem to be pretty meager. It better not be much more than the original Ti.
