MARCO G - Biography
The celebrated DJ behind the famed G-style, Marco Greniers savvy selections and impeccable mixing have made him an established favourite at home and abroad. A long-time friend and collaborator of Preachs, Marco G shares a residency at Aria, Montreals largest afterhours club, and at Quebec Citys prestigious Club Dagobert, where he effortlessly constructs sets of throbbing, sultry techno and house that appeals to purists and thrill-seeking partygoers alike.
His production skills landed him one of the most notorious awards in Canada. On September 10th 2007, Marco G was honored a "GMEAUX" prize from the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television for the musical theme of the Tv series "Minuit, Le Soir". Marco G shared this prize with his partners Mathieu Desaulniers, Dj Kal & Nicolas Maranda.
His perseverance and determination caught the eyes of many labels and producers around the globe starting at home where his tracks got licensed and featured on several MC Mario national Mix Compilations selling more than 500,000 Albums in Canada alone and featured on Mc Mario's Top10 Charts almost every month. Internationally, Marco G got involved with the house elite such as David Guetta's producer Joachim Garraud which landed him a remix spot for his famous "Invasion" Compilation. While labels like Little Mountain (Sander Kleinenberg), InStereo (ran by DJ Dan), Eyezcream, Opaque, Spinnin' are catching up to use his skillfull production in their projects. Marco G latest tracks got support and was playlisted by such world leaders as: Sharam, Erick Morillo, Peter Gelderblom, Dave Seaman, Muzikjunki , Tiesto , Sander Kleinenberg , Micky Slim and more .
Through seventeen years of DJing, whether playing for diehard sweat-drenched ravers or classy, wine-sipping trendsetters, Marco G has never lost his close ties to the underground. The hard, dark rhythms of the afterhours culture remain a pervasive element in both his track selection and production approach, and his open enthusiasm towards new genres, ideas, people and places has allowed his career to thrive through three decades.
Marco G currently co-hosts one of the busiest radio programs in Quebec where he's famous for his appearances on Euphoria on Radio Energie 98.9FM. His constant support to the Canadian and Quebec scene in particular earned him titles in events during Quebec's 400 years anniversary playing along side Moby, Tiesto, Bran Van 3000 with a 70,000 fans attending the event. While his weekly appearances at Dagobert enables him to perform along side names like Fedde Le Grand, Felix Da housecat, Eric Prydz, Deep Dish and more...
Next year, Marco G enbarques on a new mission by compiling his exclusive album titled "NO REQUEST" featuring more than a dozen numbers emmersing each unique sound that will top the radio and billboard charts without any doubt.

just came back
Preach was incredibly amazing. marco G was a bit of a turn. they switched way too early in the night. I thought preach was staying till 6:30 am
what a great night overall
i had a great time with a fantastic crowd... and my legs hurt... can't be better !!!
thanks everyone !!!
Got lot's of fun! Was nice seeing him after all these years for me!
Preach did a amazing performance, loved it. Not all tracks but 3/4 what excellent, the rest, cheezy remixes and breakdowns was boring,I prefer techno without 1000 breakdowns, but the vibe and crowd was great, so.
My review is only: Preach is the Beeeeest...Thanks for Joop 3008 ( Preach remix), it sounded really good
This used to be a regular night in Aria cant really remember which night but i attended regularly, unfortunately I dont go to afterhours anymore so I missed out, but if it was anything like those nights at Aria it must have been really fun

we were happy
will post videos as soon as i get them...
