the knife in battlefield bad company is my favorite weapon. run around corners, knife them when they come around. sneak around and cut them. run at them when they're shooting you and stab them. i know it frustrates them so much

That reminds me. I just has a friend swear into the Army as an 18X. He leaves next month. I hope he will be ok because I know it isn't like video games at all.

COD 4 and COD5 were worth every penny, definitely a classic. Although a lot of people complain the single player is short, I thought it was perfect. Usually, the missions get boring and repetitive anyways when it get too long like ehm..the Halo franchise.

Also, the leveling up system for online is genius...it gives the player a sense of progression in multiplayer. Very curious what they'll do to COD: MW2.

*most* of the guys enlisting know full well its nothing like it is the the games or the blockbuster movies (not talking about the true story movies like band of brothers)

but yeah, but he should be fine, 11B or similar is infantry from what I know

18X goes straight to SFAS after osut/prep/airborne so not really anywhere close to 11B (still infantry, but not standard infantry). And he's 25 with a few years of college, so I don't think he's stupid enough to think it is like movies and shit. Just the game reminded me that he was leaving next month. Personally that shit is a little too much for me.

goddamn wild dogs... the melee attacks dont do shit. When you get killed one message says to wait until they bite to press V, and another says melee them before they bite. WTF over?

Solid game, beat it twice on the hardened setting. Consequently this game has become a complete distraction from working on music or getting any kind of work done.

i haven't even been playing. i'm still playing COD4 and kicking ass. wish they'd have tournaments so i could put a decent team together and rock that shit. last night i was getting 30+ kills every game on Hardcore Team Deathmatch. people were getting pissed.

Activision FTMFW. Played COD since the original back on PC. damn, nothing like LANing up a good game of COD in the dorms. those were the days.

i really like the game. good graphics. good gameplay. the fact you can hop in an assortment of tanks, helicopters, hummers, boats, and artillery add an interesting twist. 24 people on at once. i really like it.

COD MW2 is going to be sweet. they are making battlefield bad company 2 which will be good too.

I borrowed Unreal Tournament 3 from my brother for XBOX 360 and did not dig it at all. I never played any other Unreal Tournament games though and I'm new to XBOX 360 (because along time ago I gave up video games for Chess but recently came back to video games) this one was too hoaxy for me and the graphics made it look like the dudes hand was way out to the side. It just didn't look like a realistic approach to a FPS. I'm sorta hell bent on Left 4 Dead, so that played a factor in me not liking UT3

Might start doing the multiplayer soon. Trouble is I dont have too much free time to really get into it much
