lol that's a pretty dumb statement, and you know that
no need to be so far fetched, don't like, don't look at my cleavage :P
like I said - for me there is NO religious meaning there at all
as far as I'm concerned - we have freedom of expression here anyway, so even if I wanted to portray something with wearing a cross, I could

How about their own channel (CTS), how about all the preaching shows they have on the weekends, or in the middle of the night. You think that airtime is free? Where do you think religious groups get their money? From regular people, and there is a hella lot of it that flows to these groups.

How about Vatican city?

Not true. Most of my friends growing up were religious. When I explained to them, at the age of 12 that I longer believed in a higher being, i was called the devil for most of my life. They were pretty much joking, but I was still seen as different, because I did not believe.

I also went to a Catholic high school for two years. I made the mistake of publicly stating that i did not believe. In every class I would have explain myself, over and over again. These people would just not quit. I didn't go around saying that the should not believe, I just shut up and sat there, and learned what i was supposed to. But it did come up from time to time.

It is completely foolish to say that a younger generation is filled with non-believers. Maybe in your group, but religion is alive and well.

Well I don't go to school anymore. Most of my friends don't either. When we did then yea of course. We all went to a catholic high school afterall. I'm talking about our generation. People in their 20's to 30's. It's not just my group of friends but even acquaintances, co-workers, etc etc. Even looking at internet forums. Nobody believes in anything nowadays except for themselves (and not in the positive way).

The best is when you meet a person who tells you theyre very religious, and wear crosses, then proceed to snort coke infront of you like it was nothing.

Thank you. It's all about "expressing yourself"/serving your ego nowadays.

why do u not wear the swastika? why do you not wear a wiccan? oh wait..people do that already without knowing the symbolism...

We Christians use the cross to remind us of the forgiveness of our sins.

my point being...why do you wear something that symbolizes something you disagree with?

going into your point about freedom of expression, just because you CAN doesnt mean you SHOULD

PS. its Hindu not Hindy. Hindi is a language, Hinduism is a religion

Some people need to believe in something. Just because you dont agree with what they believe in, doesnt make a person dumb. Thats just being ignorant. Theres more to being religious then believing there is a god. The values and the charity work they do are just amazing to see. No I dont believe in a god or alot of what they believe. But I still see good in religion and what it can do for people.

I don't need to have faith to know that I shouldn't kill the next person, rape the next person... etc, I don't need to have faith to help out the next person who's down on their luck. We should not do, or do, based on just being human and that we can do good for the betterment of our species. You don't HAVE to believe there's something out there just to get along in life. To "have to" believe because it makes us feel better just shows how weak the human mind can be. "God took my husband away from me because He needed him in heaven" is just a way to cope with a loss. But where is the explanation in terms of godliness when a wave comes ashore and washes away a quarter of a million lives? Using the same frame of mind, did "God" need them too?

In the end none of the two ideas are right, it's the majority that aways rules ************.
