i almost stayed there, but im staying real close to there...cuz i anticipated most of the partyng would be downtown

We are staying at the River Park in Downtown. We have stayed there for the past 3 years. And its only a taxi cab ride from everything in Downtown. I live in miami but I hate the commuting and I dont want to take chances with DUI's.

Ive always stayed at Holiday Inn Bayfront in the past. Figure I would change it up a little. I will let you know about Opera Suites and Marina.

No loud music during the day,but still a lot of young people by the pool.
Last time i brought my music to the pool and that was no problem at all.

It's just a place to sleep and get some rest by the pool in the morning before heading out to party

I'm always in a private room and it's nothing special, but you have a shower and a bath,so what more do you need.

I'm staying with a bunch of friends at the Tropics as well. For a private, it really is the best value in South Beach with Killer location. 1550 Collins. It's pretty clean, the people working there were friendly, and they get a ton of international travelers so you get to meet some cool people.

This year, we have a private room. In 2007, we shared a dorm. It's a great spot for a large group of friends b/c they have doubles, two-twin beds, triples, and 2 doubles...and 6-8 bed dorms.

Good luck hopping over! The security is tight. Be prepared to pay big bucks at the door and make sure to get ther really early because the fire marshall will limit the Surfcomber to how many people they can let in each day. I thought the same thing over the summer and I bought advanced tickets and still had to wait 3 hours to get in because they were already at capacity. The Mersalles has a small bar outside by the pool and the drinks are really good. Get a few in you before going to the Surfcomber.

14th and collins baby. perfect location and a cheap, clean, nice hotel that somehow everyone seems to miss...which is perfect for me, keeping it a secret!

Sweet. Yeah, got a private room, think that's a necessity when you need to get a bit of sleep, whenever that might come! And as another plus, it's right across from the beach!
