50 50 for this at the moment....last time for j00f just wasnt a good set at all. Technical fuckups, very little diversity after he jumped the bpm like 15 points in a shot. (blame the guv sound system all you like)

Liquid love (pick one of 100 remixes) makes me puke, if i hear that i will fire a blue liquid in a tall bottle at him. If after 2 am, then it will be a yellow liquid.
I realize i will have to get it past hardcore trancer and Spaniard who will be standing as bouncers in front of the j00f booth.

His cd is not bad tho, that would be a monster improvement.

2 things:

1) last time he was here he was very ill and he could barely stand up,and the guys still showed up and put on a good show.Pure class imo.

2) Guv sound system sucks for 99% of the time sadly.I dont know why they dont spend a little more cash and fix it up?

Sound Quality has been a major issue @ Guv for some time now, you would think someone would have taken care of this by now. I mean, last year they spent what...over three million in renovations and couldn't splurge on a new system? Isn't the old Sonic system floating around somewhere?

Thats exactly mu point.I mean if you area trying to come off as a world class EDM club then perhaps you should probably invest some money on the sound system.

Way too many dead spots and the sound is just never well balanced.

ok enough of bashing Guv :P on the other hand they got some fuckin world class lasers.

I don't really have a big problem with the Guvernment. They're the only club in Canada that brings in world class DJs every other week not to mention their stellar locals.

I think the only problem with Guv mainroom's sound is that they over drive the base simply because they can.

I'm impressed that I can hear people talk in such a loud environment (i.e. great sound system with very little noise and distortion) but the bass is sometimes just too loud. Feels good in the stomach, kinda overshadows the rest of the sound though.

FRC folks. If you see a bunch of people near the front, all talking, and chatting, and generally interacting, they are TA's. Go talk to them. The plain and simple way, a lot of us have met. Don't be shy.

PS - don't worry about the sound system tonight. Guys like J00f tune the system, to sound much better than most nights. The last two times he has been here, the sound was great.

If that doesnt work I will just use some trickery such as: Hey look, it's george bush! And then sneak by while u peel off in a rage.

And yes, guv sound system has major issues. Usually effects melodic based sets a lot more than psy based sets tho. Best bet is to get drunk and walk into sketchville in front of the middle speakers...pretty consistent sound in there if you can handle it.
