Sneaker Pimp

I'll be seeing him in San Diego at Club Spin this Friday. Awesome club for those that are there for the love of the music.

yep!!! the afterhours crowd shows up without fail there. They should just book DJ Mixtape for 4am and later (would be an improvement over some of the afterhour djs!).

Lol.. i forgot to mention. There were quite a large number of "Hot Chicks with Douchebags" that night. Especially towards the back of the club and the patio.

The weekend was good indeed.

Libertine on Saturday was packed to the rafters for Roy Davis Jr.

Friday, Bianca's Joint was super slow up to 12, then by 1am, we were so packed that we had two girls faint.

FYI, but its funny but to Asia and Europe, Kaskade is really huge and has been for a long time. He charges 20K to 30K per event.

Last time I played at Vanguard was the Kaskade + Bentley night right after 3 days of Tiesto and it was still slammed! What a great night that was. Almost got better at 10:45 when I hear " no one can get a hold of Jason so you might be playing till 12:30." Unfortunatly for me he showed up. Got to play on that crazy Tiesto stage set up too. What a week. If only I could have just slept in Tiesto's trailer. Spent all week at the club any way

Hey for anybody that was there last Saturday... Do you know what song Dirty South opened with? I'm addicted or something like that. Trying to find that track and I'm having one hell of a time.

kind of OT

does everyone in the discounted guestlist get in before 11 PM?

Posted by indamixx99 on Mar-04-2009 07:20:

No, you've gotta request it. There's usually links posted on here a few days prior to the event about getting on the guest list.

as long as you are actually in the discount guest list line before 11pm, you can buy the discount ticket....it may be after 11 before you actually get into the club if you get in line close to 11pm.

also note on some rare occasions like for David Guetta, the # of discounts is very limited....typically that info will be given out ahead of time.

the discount guest list closes at 11pm typically. after 11pm you have to pay the normal cover charge. with a presale, you can walk in whenever, and sometimes the presale cost is a bit less than the walkup price. the discount guest list cost will always be cheaper than the walkup price. a presale also basically guarantees entry on the nites where they hit occupancy (you may wait a bit to get in but you will).

so if you wanted to go last Sat nite for instance, the discount guest list was $15 before llpm. the walkup and presale prices were $25 minimum.

feel free to PM me in the future to get on the discount list. just PM me the names you need on.

So i just watched a video from this night and he was playing a song with the sweet dreams vocals and a very melodic track in the background. Does anyone have anyyyy idea what the underlying track could be?? I'll try to get the video to upload it, but wow it was just amazing.

(and no, its not the sweet dreams vs gypsy mashup).

what video?

it was a recording off a friend's phone/camera. I'll post it up as soon as I get a hold of it.
