Everything on there is common public knowledge unless you have been living under a rock since before ISOS1.

;p

This was my first thought

#11. Tiesto once had sex with 14 midgets at the same time (also a world record) in a New York appartment. The open window provided a constant background noise of NYC's finest traffic. That event inspired the writing of the track aptly named 'Traffic'. Originally Tiesto wanted the title 'Midget Traffic' but the label talked him out of it with 2 cans of redbull.

True: He started off scrubbing toilets at a club so that they would let him play.
Also true: He was held at gunpoint when bandits robbed a bus he was on in some crazy country.

Now, lets hear some more funny ones!

Tiesto wasn't always producing as Tiesto. When he was first developing, he created music and DJ'd under a number of pseudonyms. Unfortunately, the music just wasn't up to his excruciating standards and he didn't care for their association with his current name, so he cultivated a number of protoges to assume their role while he went onto create the persona known as Tiesto. You can hear much of his early work if you listen to Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyke, and Jon Bon Jovi.

Tiesto sadly refers to these artists as his "trail of tears".

15. If you say "Tiestical", English speaking Tiesto fans respond by saying, "That's not how you pronounce it". This resistance may be easily remedied by explaining to them that that's how it's pronounced in Dutch.

16. Tiesto's jawline matches perfectly with the southern border of Texas. Note the similarities between "Tiesto" and "Texas" - sensing a trend, here?

17. Tiesto's marketing team fell asleep for 5 minutes, and as a result, he lost 400 bookings and 90% of the people who listen to electronic music momentarily forgot who he was. Half of them killed themselves once they remembered again, which explains why nightclub attendance has plummeted in recent years.
