hmmmm... i would take a wed-tues off instead of tues-mon.
Not stay at 10th and michigan again... too hot and gross.
Think about staying at the shelborne... Jon is hot as hell.
Not get sick and miss stuff, or just bring medicine so I can handle it.
Wear better shoes... I think my feet are seriously going to fall off still...
And meet up with more people. But it was nice to meet you monsoon!
-find a hotel w/parking permit.
-show up early at any TA's meet.
-bring more money.
-eat healthy food.
...i will rip it sickkk with CrazyRay
- Bring way more money
- Stay a couple days after to relax
Wouldn't change much else. Amazing friends, amazing music and amazing weather, doesn't get much better!

| Originally posted by Jim Carson Do at least one boat party. Fly AA again into MIA, Jet Blue into FLL is for noobs and seriously misguided souls. Go to Sunday School again, also love Ice Palace. Stay at same hotel which rocked. Stay Tues/Wed to Tues/Wed instead of Monday to Monday. Play twice as many parties (8). Possibly go to more than one panel at the actual conference. Go to Nikki Beach for Juicy Beach again. Play Nikki Beach. Make sure Cache and Galestian stay on the same floor of the hotel again. Go to Space... blow up my production so I can play there. Throw Brian Scott in a pool somewhere in South Beach. |
- More Tikki
- Less Space
- Less NE 14th and NW 11th clubs (Downtown)
- More tacos, thai, and crepes
- Share taxi cabs more often
- Smuggle more alcohol in
- No fancy restaurants
- More condo bathrooms (split 5 ways wasn't too bad but 2 RRs would have been better)
- not buy presales until a week or so before conference
- Villa/House S. Beach rental for only the hardcore (you guys know who you are, hit me up)
and next year, more crazy outfits and gear.
go to events

Here's my real list: -Get at least 1 DJ gig -Pace my "substance abuse" throughout the week -Check out Electic Pickle -Definitely attend SSFD again -Definitely attend another yacht party -Definitely attend another rooftop party -Stay in the same hotel/condo (free nights due to booking mishap this year) -Go Wedesday thru Tuesday so I can decompress before going back to work. -Get regular sleep and eat regular meals so I can party longer -Bring a flask and a real pipe (fuking sneak-a-tokes!) -Give Jim Carson sleeping pills as a substitute for something else and watch him struggle! |

yeah Brian - it was nice meeting you!!!!!!
See ya at SSFD next year - and One + ONe.. I promise I won't miss out.. even though I fuking had tickets
next year i will avoid all the big parties like pete tong's affliction pool party and especially that shithole mansion. i will not bitch out and bring a quarter oz of cali bud with me (so fucking necessary), fly into miami not ft lauderdale, and go on standby for a free voucher for next year. also more boat parties, more rooftop parties and more techno parties. never fails.
I will....
go see Luciano dead-sober. Dude had me twisted for sure @ Space. My lord that dude is a looping machine

This was my 2nd WMC so I knew not to leave on Sunday. Red-eye is cool, if you are gonna take the sleeping pills or xanax and sleep, if not you are screwed!
Still thinking what I would do differently...
...and I don't know why you guys are all raving about day parties. I rather party @ night, possibly do afterhours and sleep during the day when all the cars are out and SOBE is basically gridlocked. Day parties seem tiring to me, I was over the DJ Mag pool party by the time Lawler came on.
Actually, I did my fair share of pool parties. Day 1 DJ Mag, Day 2 Nikki/Juicy Beach Day 3 - Shoreclub (now that is a nice place to chill/hang out during the day! Nice, classy crowd, but you gotta be or know a hotel guest or greese a lil).
Can't wait to do it all again next year!
Vegas Memorial Weekend has a solid EDM lineup for anyone looking to do some booking and look forward to somewhere in the near future.
