Taco Mac is at Peachtree and 9th, Opera is at Peachtree and 13th basically. So 4 blocks like I said.

Parking is usually a hassle at Taco Mac, so dunno what you wanna do.

Sorry, I forgot you had said that. I will see what time I'm able to get out there and decide.

Austin and Adam, whats the plan?

Posted by enydo on Apr-23-2009 17:02:

Really sorry man but I'm going to have to ditch out for tonight I think, all this finals stuff and research paper business kind of snuck up on me and I'm really feeling the heat.

If I do really well on my exam in an hour then maybe I'd be game, but at this point it's looking like I'm staying in tonight.

Posted by Seppuku on Apr-23-2009 17:19:

Bawwwww okay

Posted by trancension on Apr-23-2009 18:31:

Well my goal is to get to Opera sometime around 11'ish like always.

I'll be the tall chubby white guy in the Ultra Music Festival shirt taking a million pictures of Markus.

Hopefully we can meet up there or before hand or whatever.

Assuming ya'll still want to meet up before hand, 10'ish at Taco Mac?

Posted by ZeeRobot1 on Apr-23-2009 19:02:

I shall be there early off to the right wearing either my space ibiza shirt or a blue pinstripe button down look for the tan kid with a ciggarette haha.

Posted by Big Worm on Apr-23-2009 19:59:

10ish at taco mac sounds fine.

i've never been in that place, i'm assuming there's a bar area. i've been in the taco mac in alpharetta, and there's definitely space by the bar for people to mill around and what not. not sure what the layout of this one is.

ummm, are you guys wearing tshirts to the show? i wasn't sure if that was acceptable dress-code wise, but the last few times i've been to opera, i've felt like i was overdressed.

like "affliction" style t-shirts is whats acceptable.

Posted by trancension on Apr-23-2009 20:04:

Liquified shows have a very laid back dress code.

I think boots and sandals are the only things not allowed due to safety concerns (if even).

But ya, t-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes is usually my ensemble.

Sometimes I throw on a dress shirt or polo.

Posted by Calamar on Apr-23-2009 20:07:

Agh, sorry -- I can't make it to the preshow meetup tonight due to some other obligations. Maybe next time? I'm still headed to Opera at around 11pm, though. If you see some guy who resembles that dark greenish photo to the left, but wearing a black button-down and jeans, be sure to address him as "CALAMAR" and greet him. Hopefully it's me, but otherwise it will be pretty funny.

Posted by trancension on Apr-23-2009 20:18:

Hmmmmm, sounds like there is a sudden lack of enthusiasm at meeting up before the show at Taco Mac, which is perfectly cool. We can just try to meet at the show.

I just need to meet one of ya'll by the end of the show so you can take my picture with Markus!

I'll plan on meeting up at Taco Mac though. I'll check back here before I leave though and see if there is a complete lack of enthusiasm. Hopefully not!

Posted by ZeeRobot1 on Apr-23-2009 20:47:

I am now on the border on going leaning twards no beacuse of kaskade tomorrow.

Yeah, everyone seems to be less excited. I'd like to make it to Taco Mac, but I may be running late. Just don't know if I'll have the extra time to walk down from Opera then walk back. I will try. May end up just meeting at the show. I'll take a pic of you with him James if you get one for me. Last time I was right there, but I hate asking total strangers to snap a pic for me.

And yes Big Worm, you don't really have to dress up. When I first started going out I thought you had to dress nicely, but learned it wasn't necessary. I usually try to look a little nicer than usual just in case, but that's usually just a polo like shirt. Where abouts in Alpharetta do you live? I live about a minute from a Taco Mac.

Calamar, see you there. Zeerobot, you're going to miss Markus for Kaskade?

Munky and I will be at Taco Mac for an hour or so before we head into Lava. What does everyone look like?

No, the one over near Windward. You live in Alpharetta?

alright, just finished class!

pvdfan, i live about a minute away from the taco mac on 9 as well. crazy! if you turn on henderson parkway, where the onestar is at, i live in that area.

ummm.... so it looks like our meetup group is starting to dwindle a little.

i'm still up for it, but i can also see the advantages of just trying to meet in the club. (of course, i can see the disadvantages of that as well).

my sister just picked me up from school, and i'm at her place in the virginia highlands.

i can tell you that it seems like it's about to really start storming over here. lots of thunder and some lightening. if it's rainy like this at 10, i think we might want to reconsider meeting because of the rain, and try to meet in opera.

what do y'all think?

Posted by trancension on Apr-23-2009 23:57:

Yep.

Weather is definitely killing my meet up at Taco Mac buzz. If it dies down in the next hour-hour n' half though, I'll still head to Taco Mac first.

I gave my description on the previous page Scott. So if the weather gets reasonable look for a dude in an Ultra Music Festival shirt. (Black with pink text all on the back).

Man...you guys live right next to Taco Macs in Alpharetta, and I live right next to one in Kennesaw. Crazy.

Lol. It's a small world. I can see the One Star restaurant from the front of my neighborhood.

I think if the weather is bad it would probably be a good idea to meet at the club. The only issue is that it will be too loud to really make introductions. It's a lot harder to explain who you are when it's that loud. I guess I will see how things are when I head out. See you guys later!

Posted by Scottaculous on Apr-24-2009 00:34:

this is the munky

nah not married...yet. we met almost 5.5 years ago because of TA well sucks you guys are kinda not meeting now but oh well another time! sounds like most of atlanta ta lives up here in johns creek/alpharetta anways! haha

but we'll be at lava if shit hits the fan at opera.

If this falls through, and sadly is does seem like it is, as a pedestrian, rain owns me.

I suggest a Sasha/Digweed Reunion Meet-Up.

Yeah, everyone is going to be at that one, even the trance haters. Where do you have to walk from? Hopefully the rain dies down later.

Posted by trancension on Apr-24-2009 01:10:

10th and Northside basically =/

I'm going to try and use Tech's stupid buses this time though...

Sometimes I wish I just commuted from home in Kennesaw. Hell, the walk to that Taco Mac is even shorter than the walk to this one! And I could at least park at Opera!
