Yea, he is paying for my little brother to go to China for all of May, and to go to Japan for another (in the last 4 years he has spent nearly a year and half in Japan) year next Spring!

I deserve something for nothing as well!

I have a friend that is doing exactly that, while working on his dissertation. Lucky bastid. He's also getting DJ gigs there quite easily.

my mom did it for a year while i was over there living with my dad on a marine corps base.

she has a 2 year degree and paralegal school which isn't that much and she got a job right away doing that. you don't have to have your masters or anything to get a gig like that.

My buddy is there right now, but business has slowed down a ton. Also, you need a 4yr degree to teach in a school.

she taught at a private school and taught all age groups. 5 year olds, business men, teenagers, etc... they set her up with housing and everything. she got recruited from an L.A. based company.

she was pretty good with it. she'd buy stuff at the grocery store (all in japanese) and make her lessons be the students explaining to her how to make the food. lol win/win

I am just going off his info, so I don't know a ton of specifics. Also, the company he went there originally with did the same, but they then fucked over everyone that they employed. They went bankrupt, weren't paying their employees, etc. He found another place, but they don't find a place for you, and what not. Although that place does pay more.

Eitherway this is for the better. I am young, not even sure if I wanted to be in that career path for the rest of my life. So I am going to go back to school and figure things out.

Just a heads up don't go to school to figure out things; you should know what you want to do before you say oh I'm gonna go to school. . . in the end you will waste more time and money trying to figure something out that you should already have figured out.
