seems the Ferry rumors are false, as he is scheduled to play the *west* coast of Canada on July 1st and 2nd....unless he is playing on the weekend, no Ferry for Canada day

Our party is on June 30th....so there's still a chance!

not happening regardless. I have a wedding at home the weekend of the third (upstate ny), thus my tentative plans to do Toronto the week before. It just makes sense to do it all in one swoop. damn, its a good thing that you guys have good parties up there that week!!!

maybe I should make a thread about that event there are a lot of you tech heads in Toronto, eh?

There is basically 1 seat on each bus that is a $1. I happen to be lucky and seem to be on the site when they release new dates.

I then book as many Thursday departures and Monday returns as I can.

so I "tweeted" dubfire to see if he would be at the zone or do a boat cruise after the guv and he responded: "@oldman1313 haha! I'll be hanging with Rich so we'll see how it goes"

so who is rich?

Last year, we did the Guv/Skybar, then the Canada Day boat party with Fanciulli/Fair, then we walked over to Cherry Beach (still no sleep) and I told my g.f. in the early evening, ok lets go, when who comes rolling around the corner.... the Samba Elegua drumming band... and injected new life into us...was no way we could miss this!

My vacation starts at the Guv event and goes on for 3 weeks Riding my VFR down to Atlanta and will try to go via the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway...still have to plan my routes. Finger Lakes area indeed very nice, was there a few years back as well. Can't do much driving with all the wine tasting taking place!

Hope we have equally amazing talent on the Canada Day cruise this year. Hawtin or Max Graham would be fantabulous...seems appropriate seeing they're both Canadians!

See you when you get up here.
