I kinda feel bad for the rest of the 200,000 Tamils in Toronto who have been racially tarnished by these under 2000 protesters that just broke the camel's back. 0.5% of their population made the rest look bad. That said, I can's say I can prejudge a group by .5% of their population.

Great point. Taking down the Gardiner is much dumber move than the protesters.

It's absurd, they're not even "protesting" something that any of us can actually do anything about. They seem to just want to make everybody else's lives miserable because they're unhappy.

I dont care whats going on in their home country now. If they live here they are canadian. We should really tighten our immigration laws, and only let people from less troubled nations in.

What about the homeless protest at Queens Park a coupla years ago...

Police had no problem breaking that up...

Problems with relevance in Toronto aren't protestable but these losers are allowed to disrupt most of downtown???

When my colleague and I confronted one of the protesters a few weeks back and told him that he had no right to ask our country for aid; he rebutted by saying that they are a 'humanitarian freedom fighting organization.' This is before him and his buddies threatened to "beat us up" if we didn't behave.
